Bewitching Hour
Since this is our fave time, thought we should have a thread dedicated to it...... so who would you like to be bewitched by and how would you like them to do it (bewitch you that is)
(God I really need to get a life, dont I?) For me it would be a candlelit table at the waters edge on a beautiful carribean island, the sea would lap the waters edge, I'd be dressed in a red silk dress, Ian in open necked white shirt, black trousers, and we'd both be barefoot, he'd smile that glorious smile and we'd dance in the moonlight, then have dinner and talk for hours and dance some more, and walk hand in hand along the beach forever and ever..... Ooh I've gone all pink and embarrassed. This Ian obession is getting a tad serious

I will try and answer your questions at the Bewitching Hour itself - I'm not very good at staying up that late, but I will do my best. Thanks again for another great idea.

Yay, I made it. Husband and child now slumbering gracefully, I have purloined glass of wine husband brought up the stairs with him and am ready to get to know you ladies even better.
Now, who would bewitch me? Well, that nice Du Beke man might have half a chance I rather think a Wintry horse and carriage ride round Central Park in New York, followed by dinner in some lovely restaurant in the Village might do it. Who am I trying to kid? I could meet him anywhere, he would look at me and I would go "Ok, I'm bewitched, do with me what you want".

I've just remembered this question. Although I'm not sure what my answer would be. I like what Star has come up with but substituting Anton (or Colin) for Ian.
Edit: How wierd was that, Libby and I went for the same thread at the same time. Spooky |

Ahh so you're daughter is sleeping peacefully, I'm glad! I'm actually living the dream on the 'Nobody should leave" thread. Sitting round a campfire on a cold clear night with my head on Brendan's shoulder and good friends around - is just perfection - at the right time of night, everything just seems a bit more *possible* you know?

Libby and Happy you have both kick started my brain with your ideas. Mine would be a cottage in North Wales, it's snowing outside and you can see Snowdon from the cottage, there is a nice fire going and we've got a bottle of wine and some chocolate, some relaxing music on the stereo, and I think I'd take either Anton or Colin to the cottage with me.

The funny thing was, in real life, the glass of wine I purloined from my husband became a bit of an issue at 4.30 in the morning. He woke up, couldn't see it and thought he'd left it on the stairs - I was fast asleep, knew nothing about this, so he spent ages wandering round the house looking for it. Bless him, he was worried that one of us might wake up and fall over it.
Anyway, Star, you are off to live the SCD dream today - have a fab time
