Ian and Wellard
TakeDown247

I started to think Ian was mean trying to get Wellard put down

But when you look at it from Ian's point of view you see things different

Mean if a Dog bit and hurt you wouldn't you want something done about it?
I would

I posted this in another thread but it's still relevant:

Quote:
“It's the same nonsense they're doing with Ian regarding the Wellard storyline. You just know that it's so people will cheer when Phil does the dirty on Ian next time around (probably when he makes Ian sell back the Arches for a fiver. )”

Put it this way - if it had been a 2 year old child (if it was real life of course) that had been bitten The Sun and The Mirror would have had pictures of the "brutal attack" on the front pages of their papers.

In East-Cuckooland-Enders Ian is a weasel that deserves everything he gets and Wellard only did what everyone wanted him to do.

Course you would be annoyed to say the least! However it was totally outwith Wellards norm & maybe he seen some fresh meat on Ian's backside!!

No - only joking. Can feel a joke about Ian Beale & his buns - however for you - I shall refrain!

We don't like Ian, Wellard sensed he was disliked, so he bit him

How would we have felt if it had been a likeable character who had been bitten?

Well Ian talks out of his backside so Wellard did us all a favour - but if it was real life, the dog would be no more...

Hmmmm, you have to understand that the dog had a reflex action to Ian standing on his tail. Let's just say that over the years, my kids have been bitten by dogs, but these were because of the same sort of thing. The latest was at my dad's house, my young son accidentally trod on his dogs foot. The dog's foot was already bad, so it must have been painful for her. She bit him. It turned out that she actually had cancer in her foot. I would not have blamed the dog for this at all though, it's a reflex and she was protecting herself.

It wasn't really a reflex action to having his tail trodden on - that happened some days before the bite. But it was a reaction to having food taken away from him - another thing dog's don't like very much.

I have accidently trodden on my cats feet and tail a few times, she yelped loudly and didn't attack me for it.

Wellard didn't savage Ian, more's the pity, he just nipped him pretty hard! I don't see what Ian is making all the fuss about! He wasn't even in that much pain a few seconds later, and now all this!

Mind you, this is Ian Beale we're talking about...

Imust have seen that wrong then, I could have sworn that it happened within a few seconds of the tailbeing trodden on. Oh well.

I know Ian can be an old woman and a lot of the time he deserves getting his comeuppance, but I have to agree with him when he got bit.

I know EE is only a soap, but if this was real life Wellard would probably be put down, irrelevant to the fact he has never done it before. If they have done it once they can do it again.

Slightly going off the subject but only the other week my cat who I have had for 8 years went for my daughter for the first time in 2 years. Luckily she was ok as cats can't do as much damage as a dog can, but we had to find her another home to live (she went with friends). It was very sad but me and my husband could not take the chance she would not do it again, plus we are expecting another baby in March.

Anyway thats my two penneth
