I have been supporting Kate for the past week, and would like to know if Kate has a good chance of winning (now)?

Alex is still leading the digital spy's popularity poll with 34%, Jonny 32% and Kate 31%.

I liked Jonny and Alex too, but decided that Jonny is selfish and Alex just moans too much!

I think she does stand a good chance. I hear last week on AOL there was a poll for who you would like to win.

Kate was in the lead with 34%. Jonny about 32% and Alex about 20%. Over 126,000 people voted. I think it's going to be very close this year and more exciting.

My son's workmates & his girlfriend's workmates - predominately female - are all voting for Kate to win.

Only thing is didn't we all think that Helen stood a chance last year? and look how many votes she was away from the 70K. But this year I do think that Kate honestly has a chance of winning, all the polls suggest she does.

Kate the 'geezer-bird' who sits and listens to PJ describing his encounter with Jade the morning after. Kate who actively encourages Jade to strip off her clothes in the name game. Kate who stands by while Jonny rips off Jade's bikini bottoms in the pool.
She is far too heavily influenced by the 'lager-lout' mentality faction in the house. One can only hope she is not like that outside, the trouble is the more it keeps happening the more I believe she is.
This is one person who would rather she didn't win.

I work in the electronics manufacturing as a technician, and found that the shopfloor was split between a Spencer and Alex camp for the first weeks. Soon as Spencer left, they liked Alex and Jonny. Now I find the shopfloor saying 'I am warming up to Kate', is this enough to swing the vote her way - I don't know?

I hope so...we have to wait and see!

no , there is something about kate that i don't like . she is always making out that jade is talking about her, and goading her, also after last night she thought it funny to drink and drive....so not funny kate!
jade to win...best entertainment from the lot of them in my view..love her or hate her we keep watching..

Kate won't win, let's all be realistic, but I think we can all agree that there's a bright future for her when she comes out of that house.

Well, to be fair, Jade has said a lot of things about her. How would you feel if someone went and told other people you had fiddled about under the covers with another guy in there, when you hadn't? Part of the reason Tim thinks Kate is what she is, is because Jade gave him the impression her and Spencer did so much, when really it was a few cuddles and a couple of kisses. She tries to get on with her, rather than create a conflict but is very rarely bitchy about her, and rather - discusses her.

Jonny and PJ have been ripping Jades clothes off since very early on... Jade is the one who should tell them to stop. I find it very strange that Kate gets the blame for Jade losing her clothes so much. Anyone considered that Jade just loves it?

she is always going on about how thick jade is and makes faces behind her back.
oh and yes i do think kate had some responsibility towards jade on the lets get jade naked night. if one of my mates had got that drunk i would have stepped in and i think most peeps would.!

Was really pleased last night Jade got 2 of her questions right.
I was a bit worried about what she might say!

I really dislike more and more the way Jonny and Kate are treating her. They either think it will give them more public appeal or they forget for a few minutes the cameras are on them.

People appear to have warmed to Kate post-Spencer, but as to the first female winner....? I think Sunita proved she was when she walked.

With the editing, artificial environment and constant cameras, it's obviously difficult to get a sense of the real person, but I don't think Kate is in the same league as BB1's Anna or BB2's Helen. Anna was just such a lovely person, wise and witty; Helen was an innocent who learnt and grew from her experience in the house.

And in the end, I just couldn't bring myself to vote for someone who's been to see Chubby Brown.

i would let jade win just for sunbathing in her bikini without any inhibitions . my daughter is a bit chubby and has started to wear her bikini with her mates this week 'cos jade is doing it...good on yer jade.

Kate has really shown a new side to her personality this last week ...unsure what to make of the girl ...i really thought she was quite pleasant for the first 6 weeks and even up until saturday night it was going to be hard to decide who to vote for between her and Jade ..but after her "chat" with jonny regarding drunk driving and the way she seemd to think it was all soooo funny to upset familys my estimation of her dropped through the floor
Wont make any final decisions until the time comes but certainly feel that Jade out of all of them would make best use of the money

Listening to the HM's play the 'Who am I game' last night, I got a bit narked with the way they (Jonny and Kate) were treating Jade, especially as Kate managed to show that she was almost (!) as stupid as Jade.

I think (am ducking already) that NONE of them are very intelligent. Personally would not want one of them as a friend. (Do I sound like Timmy? - oh lord!!!))

Nope, sorry, but that's nonsense. She discusses her, she doesn't slag her off. She doesn't say "she's fat, she's got a face like a pig"... She says things like "she keeps saying things in a way that suggest that I'm definitely going " "when I told her my sister dyed her hair black - she replied 'yeah but your sister is pretty'"...

Jade has constantly gone on about Kate leaving her things behind when she goes. She even said yesterday to Tim that she thought the vote was probably rigged to keep more girls in. She thought she was going, and she treated her like it. I certainly saw her going on about Kate leaving her bits of make up non stop.

Nonsense. She doesn't need to turn them against her at all, they've all figured Jade out for the liar she is(last time there were nominations - all 6 voted for her!) . Alex has no time for her, Tim spends very little with her - The only ones who do give her time are Jonny and - Oh! Kate!

As for her being snappy last night - Kate later asked Jonny and Tim if they felt she was a bit snappy with Jade earlier, as if to suggest she felt a bit guilty. She also went on to say how she was never sure whether Jade meant things she said or not, and she thinks Jade thinks the same with her. Again... This is a discussion, this is not bitching. Some people just can't seem to understand the difference.


And one more thing... Alex told Kate so much of what Jade had said about her... Jade even told others something that Kate told her in confidence about her and Spencer... You cannot expect Kate to have all that much time for her knowing full well Jade has said some horrible things about her behind her back.

Surely any reasonable person can understand where Kate is coming from when it comes to Jade. And Kate still gives her more time than Alex or Tim ever will.

I totally agree with everything you said. In my opinion Kate is been honest with Jade unlike the rest of the house. Considering how much Kate knows how much Jade has being talking about her behind her back, Kate has been quite nice to her.

Lately if it's not an "I hate Jonny" thread it's an "I hate Kate" thread. It's getting on my nerves. I know everone has their faves but come on no ones perfect.

Just want to agree with everything in Rachel's post. People who can't tell difference between the way Jade talks about people (or rather, how she HAS talked about people as she's not done it for a while has she?) and reasonable discussion about someone, obviously thinks what Jade does is acceptable behaviour...*shudder* I'd hate to know those people in real life!

I don't think what Jade says or does is really out of malice though...she's self centered and childish in her attitudes, but it mostly comes across to me as ignorance and being unable to think and talk at the same time...

i think we should just agree to disagree, just pointing out that kate has gone down in my estimation, thats all.

By the way has anyone else noticed that when anyone else is talking she seems to give them a rather evil looking stare. Her eyes look very dark and sinister or maybe she is just trying to look sexy and failing miserably.
