Seems no-one else thinks so. Such obvious gamemansip makes me lose respect for everyone involved in it (Mostly Tim, Jonny and lil' Jade). Is it me or will Jade agree to anything now to feel part of the group?

No idea what you are on about - why are the contestants refusing to nomiate? - is this another rebellion (Tims idea?)

Surely BB could simply force nominations by saying that if you don't nomiate you are automatically up for eviction together with those that are nominated.

I think Tim should be commended for trying to work around the rules and making the participation interesting, while the others are just happy to sit there like lap dogs doing everything BB tell them.

Their little conversation saying that they have no reason to nominate people at this stage is pathetic. They all have issues with other housemates and have a good idea of who they are going to nominate. Why not just be honest about it and look forward to the possibility of being instrumental in the eviction of someone you would rather not be in the house.

Only the other day some of the other housemates (I think Jonny) were saying they regretted keeping Jade in over Lynn.

Laughably they all know exactly who they're going to nominate. Why are they saying that it's so hard? To be more appealing to the outside world that's why.....pathetic. Jonny said tonight that they'd had no curry since they'd been in there. Incorrect....they've been currying favour for weeks now.......

The reason the idea of refusing to nominate came up was because they've enjoyed the last week not having had to do it and realistically at this stage it would make no difference if they list 2,3,4 or all 5, but it would put a bit of a downer on them all having to do it and a particular downer on (say) the 2 who'd then be waiting eviction.

With Tim knowing Jade is likely to be nominated, he probably thinks he's a likely 2nd name and so I could think he's got a good reason to hope everyone would refuse to nominate, but he probably thinks he stands a good chance against Jade anyhow.

Jonny I think would just like to dodge the whole thing and hope to stay in.

Jade (as has been suggested) seemed to want to go with it to join in.

Kate seemed to think it would make everyone happier but all seemed to think Alex would be too rule abiding to contemplate a little rebelion for the hell of it.

Lets face it, what difference will it matter who the housemates nominate? If Jade and/or Tim are up then one will go, and the other will go next surely? Maybe Jade is enjoying a little upturn in sympathy but I can't imagine this will be enough to stop her being booted before the last 3?...and Tim's popularity is scrapping the bottom of the chart.

The nominations previous years have been interesting even at the end, but BB have messed about with the process so much this year and especially with last weeks task that I can't see the point of the housemates having much say in it from now on...I'm with them and think it would be more interesting for it to play out to thier script rather than the plodding "seen it before" way BB seem to have it planned.

If they all refused then they would all be equal on "0" and therefore all up together. A rebellion would add real interest to the program: they are all playing the game and part of the fun is pushing the limits.

One twist though which would be a laugh: they file in the diary room 1 by 1 having agreed and one of them nominates two (the scoundrel). the order they go in is irrelavent BTW because BB does not publicise the nominations.

After they have all been in to refuse to nominate, BB announces "jonnykate, you have been nominated ..."

To be fair to Jade mesotim, she was the first to decline the call, she didnt go along with the others, she said it first.
as she did last week, (before the moninations bit was read out).

I think a call would have been to upsetting for her, no ulterior motives.
It seems we are coming to a point in BB where everything the HM's do attracts critisism of ulterior motive.(the ulterior motive being they want win..god forbid!)

Ah - But - In Jade's mind she no doubt associated accepting gifts from Big Bro as accepting nomination. She went from "Jonny you should have it" to "Time you should have it" with equal passion and conviction.....

No, Shumaker only drives fast because he wants to win...if he didn't want to win he'd drive slow like everyone else Where's the number to vote for the next F1 winner??

actually, it was Alex who declined first, closely followed by Jade then Kate. Jonny then said he thought Tim should take the call, Jade agreed, and Tim said he thought Jonny should. Alex said he didn't think anyone should be forced to take the call, then turned to Tim and said that he would advise that he did, but as jonny was talking over him this got missed.

Anyway, back to refusing to nominate! IMHO they're all gagging to nominate and just paying lip service to the idea of not doing it. Alex is their scapegoat and they will use his refusal as the reason for the failure of the plan (just like the so-called "rebellion" 2 weeks ago). if anyone could talk Alex round it would be Tim, but as far as I've seen, he hasn't even tried, nuff said.

Tim certainly was trying to win Alex over to not nominating on Sunday night lying in bed...I seriously wondered for a while if Alex was concidering it as the look on his face and the way he was twiddling his thumbs seemed to scream out "hard decision" to me...

From the things I've seen now it looks like even this little rebellion failed to get everyone on board...when are we ever going to get a proper full blown them and us stand off in the house like other countries have had! See, if the public had booted Alex and kept Spencer I'm sure we'd have been watching the "spencer scripted BB shows" by now...half of the fun of watching BB is the unexpected, and unless the housemates shake things up it seems the height of surprise we can expect from the producers is "lets mess with the nominations a bit"...the did it 1st week, then they tried the much expected divide (which was sort of interesting), then when that had to fold early they resorted to trying to do something with the nominations...a rebellion of any sort would at least make a change!
