I have been undecided on who I'd like to "win" and have been watching over the weeks .Kate was my "back -up " if no one else gave me a reason to really be pleased that they'd win there was always Kate ...innofensive ...humerous ..patient ...seemingly a lovely person .
Then I listened to the conversation live last night and was annoyed to hear her talk about a night with her and her buddies on a drinking weekend .she stated quite openly that they had been drinking for 12 hours non-stop ...then they jumped in some guys car and she DROVE with 7men crammed into the back of this mans audi....They were thrown out of 3 seperate places and finally it culminated in a fight ..in front of familys as she laughingly stated.Now I'm not talking one extra at the pub here ...she clearly stated they were all absolutely off their heads .....Sorry Kate youve let me down big style .....

I'd take her story with a pinch of salt if I were you. Seems to me Kate is one of these people that is prone to exaggeration when mid story she realises that it's not as funny or interesting to other people as she hoped.

If you noticed when she was holding court at the moment in question she stuttered and stumbled her way through the story as if half of it was fabricated because it didn't get the initial reaction she was hoping for.

My sentiments too. I thought geezer-birds became extinct in 1999 but obviously no one told Kate. Whether she thought this kind of stuff would impress Jonny, who knows? It's hard to know what to think about Kate. On one hand, she can be amusing and entertaining, particularly with her impressions. On the other, she can appear shallow and easily influenced. I suspect there's quite a bit of fresh air between her ears so although she comes across as likeable, it's only in a superficial way. Still, no one said HMs had to be 'Heinsteins.' Personally I prefer Alex as there's more depth to him and he's funny without realising it.

I was not their when she said those things but even in jest or trying to impress Jonny is the wrong thing to do, so many people have had someone die through drinking and driving who may have been watching the programme as she uttered those words. It is very insensitve and stupid.

To be fair I think Jonny made it clear he wasn't impressed Kate got a bit carried away with story and Jonny still wasn't impressed by it and questioned there actions.

So what should we draw from either interpretation?
1) she is being false: a liar. The story never happened but she was trying to impress everyone. She is a skilled and trained actress after all ...
2) She actively condones drunken loutish behaviour (coupled to a tacit approval of drink driving ;o). Wow: what a role model. Jade is beginning to look less unsavoury.

To top it off she thinks that a bunch of burkes brawling in front of families out with their kids on a Sunday afternoon is some kind of badge of honour. Ye Gods!!!!!!!! She ought to spend a Friday or a Saturday night (sober) with the Police or the Ambulance Service to see the results of the cretinous behaviour that people with attitudes like her's wreak on Town Centers every F***in weekend.
