LOL, a year ago I would have jumped out of my seat in shock but no foul language seems so bad now we've got the Timmins' in tow.

Where was the poster? Surely the director would pick up on such a thing

when stuart was rescuing the kids from the gas leak he was carrying them down the stairs & it was on the wall on behind him.

It did.
Just freeze framed it on the poster and it says
"Wasted
Wasted
Wasted
W*nker."
Bit of an error there then. Congrats on your observancy! I'd have never noticed.

Joe says bollocks in an upcoming episode. I hope that doesn't upset you.

Then it would have to put on after the water shed and the show is aimed at youngsters

'Bloody' is said a lot, never used to be, but I personally never considered it as a swear word.

I'm in shock That's a turn around from years ago when he was in it and he had to tell someone to "Ping off" because they weren't allowed to swear

Yer, i thought i saw it too, but i thought i must of been going mad. I think probably like an anti-drug poster or something, as the lab is usually neighbours set i think they over looked it. neighbours normally doesn't use swearing in dramamtic scenes like bitch for example just the odd bloody! and wot the hell does "huffder", "cake-taker" and "spigging" mean!!!

I thought I was going mental when I saw the word 'w**ker' on the sign. Is it a milder word in Australia or what? By the way, I'm totally sick of Stingray saying 'hufter' and 'spiggin'. Apparently he can't be in an episode without saying it, it's in his contract...

Don't know who told you that but it isn't true. In real life Scott is the type of character who would swear a lot. Obviously they can't have him using real swear words all the time, so the writers had to create this special dialogue for him.

However, swearing on Neighbours is nothing new. Stuart's said "Bugger" a few times as has Darren Strark. It's not really considered a swear word in Australia.

Lou said bollocks in 2001, but the BBC cut that scene.

We've heard loads of swear words over the years including the "F" word. At the school formal in 2003, one of the source tracks was "Put Em Up" by the 1200 Techniques. Half way through the track, they use the "F" word. Normally they use the beginning and end welded together. However, on this occasion they didn't and it ended up on air. It even got past the BBC too. They didn't get a single complaint either.

Spigging sounds funny - I think some alternative swear words can sound ruder than real ones.

For some reason, we have adopted 'Michael Parkinson' as an alternative swear word(s) in our house

Donk is another one - nuts I know - perhaps it's the cold weather addling the brain - lol

I think they tend to be very carefull with what they show on television, what with all the trigger happy reporting that some people live for these days. They probably sir by the phone just waiting for something to happen on television likely, and then up goes the receiver and buttons are being pressed.....

Too many people are quite happy to report perfectly innocent cooments or innocent things on television these days.......they really need to get a life, or do something more interesting. God knows what would happen if they brought Rainbow back. Hell, the amount of reports we would have about this kids show would be unflaming beleiveable. This kids programme made loads of references to sexual things, but it was never took off the air though, tongue and cheek type of thing, sort of like carry on laughing one liners if you like.
