Just sat down to watch The West Wing on More 4. Anyone else suprised that they showed the beginning, played the opening credits then went staright to an ad break.

This is in the light of Channel 4 being reported to OFCOM earlier this week for doing the same thing to Lost on Channel 4.

Aside from it being bloody annoying and a thing the Americans do just borke up the rythmn of a programme that already requires alot of concerntration to keep up with.

Was surprised too, but glad to see them take the proper US break. I think its different from Lost as there has to be a certain length between 'in-programme' ads, not between the start and first ads, or last ads and end. That's my understanding at least.
