Had to start a new thread 'cos I wanted to brag.

I was at the Good food show today...and he was there on the Piat D'or stand, where I so wasn't standing sampling wines...and up he popped!

Now although James is not my favourite favourite...out of supreme sacrifice for you girls, I got my OH to take a load of photos of him and also sacrificed myself, and had a picture taken with him too.

Once I have worked out how to use our new camera I will download them and show them here....but just to say, he was looking very sexy, very 'orange' ...and very very thin!

He was wearing a very sexy suede brown jacket and scarf, but swapped them for a chef's jacket with his voting number on the back!

All the girls were swooning around him, but I just pretended to be all nochalent and sipped my wine.

And then I went off and threw myself on Gordon Ramsey instead...literally!

Oh a happy day.

Oooh lucky you - I so wish I'd got tickets for the Good Food Show - from the bits they showed on ITT tonight, it looked great fun.

Have met James before though, but wouldn't mind another chance, now that I'm blonde and confident

Camilla wasn't there from what I could see. I was a bit tipsy by then though. Damn free samples.

Boho, you may have been on ITT and not known it - they showed a fair bit of footage from the GFS, with James and Camilla drumming up support by showing off their dancing skills

Good job I didn't see it then as I was worryin about being on the panel thing tomorrow as I don't want to be seen on TV!

Oh my yes. There are tons of wine stands and you sample all before you buy...and whiskey and beer and everything. And the martini stand is a br with free martini all day. And I had champagne too.

No wonder I am a bit tired now...but it was well worth it!

Free martini!!! I'm such an easy girlie for a martini - mmmmm. Pass the olives.

did you see him do any of the dancing as shown tonight

No...I missed that bit. It was so busy there today it took half an hour to move a few feet, hence me spending most of my time propped up at the next wine tasting bit I could find.

He (and I don't mean this horribly..I like James and know it's for the show) had had a lot of fake tan though....I guess they all have and it doesn't show so much on TV. If he looks that orange I wonder what some of the other dancers look like in real life? (And I am not meaning that bitchely either...but I was just surprised as it doesn't come over on TV so much...or maybe I should adjust the colour on my tv. .)

You paint quite a picture, when I watch tomorrow I`ll be watching James Martin but seeing David Dickinson!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope the gorgeous Dazzler hasn`t gone the same way, prefer to see him in all his rugged glory

I just had a David Dickenson thought (i know that is off topic) but what must he be like in real life then - would you need sunglasses to look at him?

If they were giving away all that free drink is it possible to recoup your entrance fee in alcohol, or would that be asking you to drink too much?

Don't worry..he looked very sexy...he looks alot thinner than I thought from TV...my OH and me both thought how slim he was looking...and he looked nothing like DD!

I will get the pictures done when I can..I took quite a few. Well OH did actually, I didn't have a hand free what with my glass in one hand and grabbing James in the other!

Bohochick you are so lucky meeting the gorgeous Mr Martin! I'm getting a bit worried about all that fake tan though...hope he doesn't get addicted to it! I saw him at the GFS a couple of years ago but didn't get the chance to meet him. Can't wait to see your photo's!

Remind me never, ever to go on tv if James looks slim in real life......... I would look like a complete and utter swamp monster.

Looking forward to seeing the photos, its great seeing the celebrities behind the scenes, thats why we all like ITT so much
