"WTF are you to tell me my reasons aren't VALID???"
"WTF are you picking on me?" "This is getting boring" - Father Jack This from someone who criticises others for their lack of respect. Personally, I thought Richey made some good points, and was admirably restrained in the face of Father Jack's semi-literate ranting. Good show. Or am I not allowed to criticise FJ either? |

I wouldn't critise FJ if I were you.
LK - tried it once but later went into the garden only to be confronted by a burning bush - which told me off! (am I the only person in a good mood tonight?) |

Personally canyak I dont care about his racist comment as I know hundreds of racist jokes, but thats what they are jokes, do you think in there own countries they dont make jokes about the white, of course they do and liberals who think it is wrong just make matters worse, but that is a totally different subject.
You were sort of right in what you say though I do hate toffs and I always will, just because of who they are, you yourself being slightly toffee nosed and highly literate are something I have come to hate about my own country. Let me guess you have never met someone who is from the higher classes that looks down on you, as they will look at YOU like an equal, yet if it was someone who worked in a factory for a living with 5 kids, they would look down there noses at you and dissmis you just as easily. It is and always will be an US and THEM system, we hate THEM and they look down on US. the one thing that helps us win competitions like this and survivor is that there is more of US than THEM, remember posh sussanahh from survivor against a local bobby called jonny, there was no contest as there are more of us to vote. |

You have your opinion but there are toffs who have spoke down to me in a condecending way, yet other toffs cant see it, no matter how hard they look, they just assume this is the normal way to act, that is why this will never stop and this will continue to happen. I am 32 now and in my time I have met many I would class to be toffee nosed 90% of these spoke down to me in a condecending manner as soon as they found out what I do and so on, this is why I hate THEM, years of hatred built up against them, because of them, can you really blame me for my opinion being what it is.

I am not being rude. But you do seem to have some kind of inferiority complex.
I don't know how it started. But you are quite old enough to work through it. LK - hopes you stop going through life with that chip on your shoulder

Its not a chip, its not an inferiority complex, its a way of life and i will always continue to stand by it, I simply dont like the posh, they think they are better when they are not, we are all the same so why should a select majority think they are better, it is not right and it will never be right.
I have had a good life so far ive enjoyed it and let myself go, on various occasions as I think the most important part of life is fun and enjoyment, not money or estates or how wealthy my friends are, im just one of the common folk who works hard to provide for his family and I mean proper hard Graft not sitting behind a desk working out deals and making millions, because of this my children are respectful and happy, they are not bullied or unhappy in any way, they also get everything they NEED not everything they WANT. You made out in your last statement that I should change but I wont as I am happy with my decisions and my ways, the one thing that makes me even happier is my children will more than likely take after me and NOTHING would make me prouder. |

I am glad you enjoy your way of life - to get your children to take such a bigoted outlook scares me a bit. Believe me I know a LOT about children who have parents' as bigots. I was brought up in N.Ireland. Give your children a good education, and when they can think for themselves, you will most likely find they disagree with you. I just find your views very strange. I feel inferior to no-one. I have never thought anyone looked down on me. Maybe I just have too large a head or something. All the best anyway. At least we have something in common. 2 things in fact, we both watch BB3 and we both post in the forum !

I have to agree you have your views and I have mine, I also stated I hope my children turn out like me I dident SAY I would force them to be like me, From speaking to you for 15 mins I already get the impression that your a LIBERAL IN which case im a biggot, if that is your deffenition of a biggot then fine that is what I am, but my one curiosity is why did I become a biggot when at the age of 22 I dident mind the posh until they actually in there condecending manner showed bigotry towards me, this would explain that we are forced into an US and THEM scenario and a never ending spiral.
I also never said I think they are better than me I said THEY think they are better than me there is a big difference in that and I choose not to like them because of my reasons, I know you dont agree but I also know many will agree, especially those who have seen it happen and those have had it happen to them. I am pleased also that you have decided not to reply as I am a bit bored with this now as my feelings will remain the same. |

On the subject of Tim's relationship with his g/f, is it possible that when he said he was going on BB, Johanna decided to take the opportunity to go to Sweden for the duration, considering the fact that they'd be apart anyway. I know that Tim said she wasn't totally in agreement about him coming on the show, but that does not necessarily mean that she's dumped him. After all, she did consent to being interviewed on the day that Tim went into the house - something that she probably wouldn't have done if she was thinking about chucking him anyway. Tabloids will say almost anything to sell papers, and the response to issues such as "Jade's Boyfriend Sensationally Dumps Her For Best Mate" may have been a deciding factor in the Tim/Johanna story (if the paper sold better during the Jade/Danny stories).
No, I'm not a Tim fan, listing the reasons would take forever and my fingers are getting tired, but the word "shallow" seems to sum him up quite well. |

Well the sun cannot legally say that they spoke to her and they cannot legally qoute her unless she has given her express permission, which she must have as they did quote her as leaving tim in her own words.

Accent? Area of Britain from where "they" originate? Income/Inheritance? All of the above? None of the above? I'm not trying to be facetious, just trying to understand where you're coming from.

If Tim gets any further up himself, he'll have to move Alex out the way. Johanna doesn't get a look in.

Little ali, all of the above and there attitude towards others of less stature than themselves. anyway especially that last comment.
Dont get me wrong some posh people are all right as I said earlier 90% of them over 10 years came into my dislike column but 10% are good people who seem different to the rest. from my observations of alex and tim they come into the 90% category |

Unfortunately, the great class divide has always been a feature of Great British society, and it looks like it will sadly continue for the forseeable future.Little ali, all of the above and there attitude towards others of less stature than themselves. anyway especially that last comment. Agreed I read one of your posts in a different thread and can understand your views on this particular subject but it takes all of the criteria you and I stated to put someone into the I hate posh category, you have a posh voice yet you seem like a decent bloke in which case id see that by spending only a couple of minutes with you, but I stand by my US and THEM position as that is how it is no matter how hard we try to cover it up, and I also agree that I dont think things will change. but the one thing I can say is I am happy with my niche in life.

Personally, I thought Richey made some good points, and was admirably restrained in the face of Father Jack's semi-literate ranting. Good show. Or am I not allowed to criticise FJ either? Semi-literate you say? Hmmm. I've never been called that before. I shall attempt to be more literate for you. I reiterate that no-one here, not even you, has ANY right to say someone's reasons for likeing/disliking any of the HMs is *invalid* as that implies all opinions are *worthless* and shows lack of respect. Remember that kind of thinking is what prevents minority groups etc getting the vote. In my book even something like "I like Spencer because he's gorgeous", though rather facile, still IS a valid reason for liking someone by definition. Richey wasn't criticisng ME anyway, he just seemed to want me to explain the logic of my reasoning and wasn't happy that Tim and his G/F had split up, that was all. I asked him why he was picking on me, and he answered (that he wasn't), so that was fine. Now question for you: I do try to show respect for everyone's opinion, as they've every right to have one, though I may pick people up on flaws in *reasoning*, or ask for examples, so I would be most obliged if you could list some examples of my disrespect, as I assure you it was not intended, and I would like to apologise. Generally if I think someones comments are THAT bad (eg "I hate Alison cos she's fat" etc) I won't even bother to reply to such moronic postings. Jack |

Just a quick clarification here on the Sun story etc. The Sun did not speak directly to Johanna - they quoted a so-called friend of Tim's called Ross who said that Johanna had spoken to him. The following day, there was a piece in the Entertainment News section of the ITV News site, saying that 'A BB insider told us that they had spoken to Johanna ...' and it said that she has not dumped Tim and that everything is fine between them (sorry, can't recall the exact words used, but that was the gist of it.) So I think Tim's mother was telling him the truth in the phone call.
At least, I hope so. |

Just to clarify though, I don't have a posh voice, I type how I think, not how I speak, which may be why some people look down on me. (the person I referred to in my previous post called me common because I live in a council house on a council estate, and earned pittance compared to them). I'm also female............well, I was the last time I looked!!!you have a posh voice yet you seem like a decent bloke in which case id see that by spending only a couple of minutes with you, but I stand by my US and THEM position as that is how it is no matter how hard we try to cover it up, and I also agree that I dont think things will change. but the one thing I can say is I am happy with my niche in life. Wow, it's amazing how this thread has digressed, I must admit I am no further towards knowing the answer of my original question (which started the thread).
I guess the only person who actually knows the truth is Johanna herself ![]() Plus I just discovered my work have booked me on flights the next two Friday nights at 9pm. I can't believe I will miss the last two big brothers:'( |
