I've used them, recommended them to several people and got me credit.

I don't like cashback but their scheme is probably a bit easier than most....

If you look at the bottom of the front page of that site,

it states

"© e2save.com working in conjunction with Greystone Telecom 2001-2004"

So the backbone of GT is e2save

I've had my last 2 phones, prior to my latest phone from e2save, i had no problems with them

e2save is part of the carphone warehouse group and you will get a much better deal in a cpw store or on cpw website. Also, their [e2save] customer service (in my experience) borders on contemptable and incompetant.

If possible go direct to the network in question and bypass the call centre monkeys.

I've ordered two phones over the year sfrom e2save, both were very good deal and beat any offer their parent (Carphone Warehouse) could offer.

My last phone about a month ago was delayed by around a week because it was out of stock even though the website clearly stated it was instock.

All cheap deals on 3 on websites have GONE
Will you still be able to see those wonderful deals from a few days back like 9mths free line rental on a 12mth contract for a K608i in December or are the trend of things set to change permanently?
Sounds like an awfully daft question i know but you are really beginning to regret your decision to put off getting a new contract until this month =(

All offers valid at OneStopPhoneShop and E2Save are possible to achieve at CPW outlets also. You enter any decent cpw store and tell them about the deal you have been offered by OSPS or E2Save and they should beat it or at very least match it.

One of the advantages of buying from a store is that its much easier to return a handset if you dont like it. Buy from E2Save or OSPS and its gonna cost you to send it back and take 5 - 7 days to exchange it for a different handset if you want one, whereas a CPW store will exchange it immediately.

Another reason is credit referrals. Take CPW outlet. Go into a CPW store and any decent Sales person will argue with referrals for a pass (its done via on screen messaging) whereas OSPS and E2Save process thousands, if you fail in most cases its tough luck they forget you and its on to the next customers.

There are so many reasons why I would always recommend visiting a store rather than using Mail Order for phone contract sales.

On 09/11/05 at 12:45 I received on my mobile message from a company-http://www.gtmobiles.co.uk/:"3G Supplier-Attention account holder: Please call now on 08703654016 regarding your mobile phone".

On 11/11/05 I called to this number and explained that I was interested only in mobile Nokia 6630, 3 network, Talk & Text 600 also I have found this product on three websites (carphonewarenhouse.com, onestopphoneshop.co.uk, e2save.com) in price 12 months GBP 8.99 or total 107.88

“If your price is the same I will buy”. Somebody told me that he had the same price and I offered Nokia 6630. In the end they explained me about cashback and promised that I would have to receive the mobile on Monday.
After 10 minutes I checked the price and it was GBP 203.95. I called back to cancel this order.
On 11/11/05 at 14:22 somebody (probably Mark) called me back from 01606814800 and confirmed me-"Do not worry, your order was canceled".
On 15/11/05 Tuesday I had received a package with mobile. I did not know how I could return or better www.gtmobiles.co.uk will take it back from my home, should I open this package or not. I called today to Alistair 01606814800 who advised me call 08712225522 - Customer Services Team only.
I spent more 5 pounds but could not reach delivery service all day on Tuesday until 5 pm so their phone replyed:"We are sorry. We have a break. We have training". Therefore
I sent this package Recorder Signed For which I never opened back by post.
After one week I called to www.gtmobiles.co.uk and asked for canceling my contract and direct debit. They refused me until receiving this mobile back.
Next I emailed to www.gtmobiles.co.uk, 3- Customer Servise
and Carphone Warehouse. Two last called me back and helped me to cancel this contract complitely although this mobile was lost by Royal Mail as I checked on his website.

My next mobile I have bought at www.e2save.com
without any problem

e2save are generally cheaper than CPW stores.
the deals are negotiated directly with the individual companies, not centrally, so the likes of E2save and one stop phone shop can undercut the stores.

CPW stores don't as a rule price match the web offerings, but they are not much more expensive, and you have the fallback option of returning to the store to see the person who sold you the phone in the first place if you get any problems.

Also, if you buy a phone from E2save or one stop, you can generally go into a cpw store and the staff there will help you out if they can. They all use the same computer system so they can look at your transaction details and resolve any issues you may have.

I would buy from E2save without hesitation, as with onestop phone shop, as they are essentially run as a branch of CPW.

Dierct2000 as you are probably aware GT Mobiles is a call centre operating as an affiliate of e2save.com, and as such is subject to the strictest of controls on its operating procedures, due to the link with CPW group. All calls both inbound and outbound are recorded for verification and quality control purposes, and with any customer complaint the recordings are listened to by senior management, and provided to e2save upon request. These call recordings can also be provided to customers upon request. When a "mis-sell" is found the agent is then subject to the companies disciplinary procedures which invariably result in summary dismissal of the agent concerned.
As GT mobiles is only an affiliate of e2save they cannot issue returns codes, as the phones are issued by e2save, therefor you have to follow e2save's returns procedures, this is why you were told to call them on 0871 222 5522, if e2save are training then it is out of the control of GT Mobiles. As you may imagine you are not there only customer, and the customer service line does become very busy - not the fault of GT Mobiles I may add. Also with regards to cancelling your order again as soon as GT Mobiles receives a request from a customer to cancel the order it is then relayed straight to e2save, but if the order has been despatched it cannot be recalled as it is in the post(they use Royal Mail), and the item will be delivered, if you don't want it you can refuse the delivery and it will be returned to sender, you don't have to accept it. Furthermore if you had sent someone an item valued at several hundred pounds and they said they had sent it back but you had not received it would you offer a refund before getting it back, I don't think so.
The trouble is people like you cannot follow the simple instructions which have been given to you.
GT Mobiles have thousands of very happy and satisfied customers, fortunately you are not one of them, the ironic thing is you went to get the same deal from e2save direct after wasting time and money, if you look at both www.e2save.com, and www.gtmobiles.co.uk you will find that the deals on 3 are identical if not better on gt's site, so get your facts straight before you start your illiterate ramblings on a public forum.

I am very sorry but I have seen you misunderstand me a bit.

When I received mobile although I was absolutely sure that it was canceled.
I phoned to gtmobile and asked "the simple instructions-what I should do next" but they gave me only another phone number 08712225522.

Of cource I could find infomation in Internet but I was unsettled at that moment and prefered to call becauce they promised early to cancel my order immediately after 10 min I checked the price.

Standard returns procedure for e2save at that time was that a deactivation code had to be obtained prior to return of the handset, otherwise it would not be cancelled by the network and the customer would be liable for the cost of the handset and the contract as well. This is why you were given the e2save customer service number, which also covered returns. Last week they binned their returns team and it is now almost impossible to return a handset to e2save.

The point I am making is that GT Mobiles are not to blame for your experience, when e2save are the ones who made the mistake. If GT Mobiles cancelled your order and e2save still send it out who does the fault lie with???? Again, if you did not want the phone why did you sign for it and not just refuse the delivery????

You also said in the very early post on this thread that GT Mobiles are very dishonest by phone, what is the foundation of this slanderous comment???? I personally know that this is not the case and GT Mobiles are one of the very few mobile call centres who tell you all the facts before you agree to a contract, you even admit the cashback was explained to you.
