Just to add, wasn't it stupid that Patsy and Anton were the only couple to do Latin. It was very very bad planning. I don't know why they are messing up the dance schedule so much.

I could tell that Patsy was having trouble, and I know from my experiences with hipster jeans that it is hard enough walking when your clothes aren't quite secure, never mind dancing!”

Jill Halfpenny last year got her heel stuck in her dress and several times it looked liek the whole thing would come off but she kept going regardless, and I think it was that attitude that endeared her to so many.

Hallo Becks!

Know what you mean about Patsy and her confidence. How can anyone with those fantastic legs have such low self-esteem? I guess last weekend's results really knocked the stuffing out of her chicken.

But I thought she did really well in the second routine and Anton is such an excellent partner. I really loved James and Camilla's dancing as well. Something about them really sparkles and is so charming to watch.

I wonder how the judging will go...?

Good luck! xx

I may upset the applecart here, but I didn't think much of the camera work on the group tango.

Lots of shots of Bill & Karen & Patsy & Anton, but not a single shot of Darren & Lilia; apart from their spotlight moment, & precious little of Colin & Erin & James & Camilla.

How are the viewers supposed to assess who did well with it; seeing as it's only the viewers who are intended to vote, or decide how accurate the judges remarks were when we aren't given the chance to see all the couples?

As for the rest of the dances, I think I'll watch the tape again; after the results show. The two dances that do stand out for me are Patsy & Anton; shame about the dress, but neither of them really seem comfortable with the latin dances, & Darren & Lilia; sorry for the Colin fans, but I did think that their foxtrot was at least the equal of Colin's performanc last week & that it was fair to have a tie for second place.

More to come, after watching the show again.

Thought most of the dances were great tonight, and really pleased that Lilia was complimented on her choreography, which was superb. Darren is a real revelation. I think it would be great if he won! Not impressed with Patsy, however, out of time and not a great routine, and other dancers have problems with dresses etc. I really think on tonights performance she should be the one to go. Also, thought Karens choreography was dire, what a cheesy start and ending!

Please folks, I'm sure alot of us will agree that Anton deserves to get to the final this year. He deserves a medal for putting up with Patsy. I like her but he just so fabulous with a capital PINK!
The show would be duller without him in it!
Please give them a vote for two.

How unprofessional was that??? Patsy was NEVER in danger of her boobs showing. Yes, it would have been difficult dancing with her straps and gloves falling but what's worse? Dancing WELL with your clothes going awry or STOPPING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DANCE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS???!! The judges would have commended her for bravely carrying on thru the dance. Ooooh, I'm so annoyed with her because, to me, she comes out looking absolutely SENSATIONAL every week but then manages to disappoint (apart her Tango!) She holds back too much!!!

I like Bill but I really believe that Patsy and Anton deserve to stay, next week would be their last week as the other four are good. But I would kill for one more week of the Du Beke. Oh that pink shirt was heaven.

That's a bit harsh. I think as the professional you have to make the best of what you have.

I think Patsy has had enough, in the same way as Sarah Manners was during the samba last year, they both gave lacklustre final (?) performances. Oh and both had dress problems

Quick second post. Now that they are down to so few couples, it would be only fair to compare them doing the same dances, this mismash makes it so uneven, particularly when only one couple does either ballroom or latin (e.g. Anton and Patsy).

though I sympathise with you re Anton (cos your a fan) I must vote on dancing and it was a dire routine performed badly just couldnt vote for them

yes Xadie your right at time Zoe's hold looked strange but thats because of the gaping

Indya you are right, I'm sure she regrets it. Jill was an inspiration when her dress got caught. Both versions!!
But I really want Anton to stay. "Said sheepishly"

Sorry but think you are being overly harsh about Patsy, she danced brilliantly in the Argentinian Tango and her dress was too big and at one point it almost did fall off - I don't think that's that same as a shoe being caught on a dress - throughout the show she has been consistently better than Bill technically in previous weeks and I think she and Anton to stay

hear hear bewest I have a few fellow dance teachers here with me and we said the same and posted that just before how can one compare a foxtrot so hard to perform well to a waltz etc now its 5 couples it has to be same dance AND zoe has done ballroom a few weeks on the run now give her latin you must even up this show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Bruno said Bill and Karen looked like they were waiting for a bus, was it the one going through the gap between Zoe and Ian

You know that's the one thing that really frustrates me, the gaping is really quite noticeable and for dancing quite a big no-no, yet time and time again they get high marks and even 10's, why???

week in week out dancers all over the country experience dress problmes at all levels and carry on (like Jill last year) but take that aside the routine was dire too

bendymixer, fair enough, you are right, but Overall Bill is a worse dancer overall. I agree with bewest, the mix match dances make it hard to judge.
But I really really want Anton to stay. I suppose I will have to get used to the idea over the next hour that they are leaving. But I will be gutted.

Just want to say i thought Bill did really well tonight and Karen looked drop dead georgous in that dress and its not fair that sum one should have as flat a stomach as Lillia! lol

I think Patsy will be out tonight and even tho my life will be over if Karen and Bill go out i have a feeling they will come in the last 2 **sobs**

Well said Eclipse80! That made me laugh! There was an appalling gap between Ian and Zoe, and how they could be awarded 10s beggars belief. I would not realy complain about 9s, but not 10s when there were very basic errors.!

Cheers bendymixer! I wondered why it looked so odd - I'm glad it wasn't just me! I know you don't like Anton, and this has been their worst week since the first couple, so I see why you couldn't vote for them. It was difficult for me to decide whether to vote for them this week, because i never vote for my favourites if i think they're the worst, but I think that Patsy and Anton were about equal with Bill and Karen, and have been better than them almost every other week.

Regarding Patsy's dress - my Mum said she should just have let it fall off, then she'd have definitely got through!

I'm so glad someone else says that, I like Zoe and Ian, but they just don't seem to me to be as good as the judges are saying they are, the gaping tonight was quite bad again, and Zoe lacked the classic jerky head movements that is so strong in the tango, plus Ian was guiding her by moving his hand around alot on her back, that doesn't add up to two 10's in my eyes.
