Does anyone know how many episodes featured Albert in 1984?

I know his last one was 25th January.

I also wonder how many episodes feature him on the 1984 DVD.

and the most recent one.

I think he was in 1 to 3 episode in 1984 (but more likely 1 as he was 88). I don't think he feature sin the 84' epsiodes of the set at all.

I think Coronation St will know.

Well he could have only appeared in a maximum of 8 episodes in 1984 as his last was 25th January as you said.

He was definately in the episode shown on the 4th. The only one from 1984 that he appears on the DVD set is the 4th Jan which was also Elsie's last episode.

Sad that Corrie lost 2 of their 3 remaining original cast members in the same month (Elsie and Albert) leaving Ken as the only original left.

Mind you Linda Cheveski did come back and she was an original cast member but she hadnt been in it since 1968, and was only there a few months IIRC.

Only the one from the 4th. The next episode on the disc is the 7th March 1984.

I really wish I had the set now, I'll have to wait till xmas.

Also Jack Haworth and Bernard Yeouns (Stan Ogden) died in real life in the space of about 4 or 5 months.

The set is great. Its quite sad watching the 1984 episodes with so many characters leaving Corrie in such a short space of time - from Autumn 1983 onwards we lost Annie, Len, Eddie, Elsie, Albert, Bert and Stan. Peter Dudley who played Bert also died that year.
