ITT comes to my house !
I shall start at the beginning.....
following a call yesterday the BBC announced they would be arriving at my house at 5pm. I spent the next 24 hours in a state of panic (lots of cleaning to be done) and mad excitement!!
Having got the house as ready as I could (BIG THANKS to my mum who worked tirelessly with rubber gloves on!!) I took the whole thing very seriously and donned very posh tango frock, sparly shoes and fluufy hair thing and waited patiently for the gang to arrive.
First arrived Terry the sound man..
followed by Annabel the producer and her right hand woman Claire.
They re-arranged the furniture in the front room and erected various lights and cameras whilst I kept hubby quiet in the kitchen with football on the second telly and plenty of beer!!
I was told the girls were on there way and had cab trouble at Kings CRoss but would be arrivng soon.
At this point my excitement and nerves had got the better of me so I had already managed two galsses of vino!!
I was expecting Lady Boz and Peaches and one other...
They arrived in a cab and needed to change, Lady Boz in to something pink and sparkly and Peaches in to a teira (probably spelt that wrong.. long night.. but it looked great anyway!!)
B as I call her, as don't want to give away real names and 'tag' takes to long (sorry) had all her elephants out on the table as a forum 'in joke'.
Annabel was lovely, but explained that we could not do too much forum reference or it would be all edited out....
between us we managed.....
Oh, hasn't he got happy feet and that routine was the beeznees... amongst others.
I am afraid you will have to watch ITT Monday to see what stayed in and what lies on the editing floor!!!
We all had a fab time and were sad to discover the cab was taking the girls home before the results show...
needless to say, Peaches called in tears an hour later when Bill left,
so feel your loss, keep your chin up girl, home you consoled yourself with the mini-bar!!
I was delighted that Darren got through and was allowed to record a message for him.... crossing everything that they show it on ITT.
Would lvoe to say more but can't believe how tired I am and all the excitement has done me in!! :sleep:
Also, only fair I leave some out for the girls to complete as don't want to steal all the glory,
but have to say it was great to meet BBC crew and a real honour to meet the other forum girls, real stars, and great people...
feel like I made new friends tonight
can't wait til Monday, here's hoping some of our 'in jokes' remain!!!

I'm very jealous, it sounds like you had heaps of fun! I hope they manage to keep some of your sly references in - and the elephants, of course! I really can't wait until Monday to see you all in all your finery!

Thats one they can't edit out as star had them all lined up on the table,

Strictly..thankyou so much for calling in and updating us. Don't worry as to what gets in and doesn't as we all know editing.

hello there!! i am fairly new to this forum and have been following all of your excited (and exciting) posts about saturday night...it seems as though you all had a great time and i am sooooooooo glad that you all managed to meet up and survive the whole experience!!! i shall be watching itt on monday ( for a change lol) and will be studiously er...studying your comments...and your frocks...and all of the famous elephants..and sparkly pens....omg...it just sounds so fab!!!!!!! congratulations all of you and i am sure that you will do the forum proud!!!!

What a hoot!! Claudia would absolutely love that, as would we!! I'm really looking forward to Monday night, video recorder at the ready as always.

PS. I also cried when Bill and Karen left and I am a massive Anton Fan. Karen is just the sweetest lady.

Well done our TEAM, I'm thrilled at your sterling efforts and even more thrilled that you seemed to have such a fun time together and were like old friends Whataver, does or doesn't make it into the cut on Monday, I'm certain that Claudia and the viewers will find it the most entertaining of all the 'Alternative Panels' they've had on before.

Sounds like you had a really great time - bit of a bummer that the taxi came before the results though, although i'm sure it didn't dampen the excitement too much

Hi Guys
Can you beleive my computer crashed at midnight last night, just as I was settled in to talk to Lady Boz and you guys about the filming...boo hoo
All up and running now though, thank goodness...

Not sure what sitting room will look like as they moved all the furniture and had us crammed in to a tiny space with sofa, table and tv.... but at least it will be clean!!!

Apparently, our names will be on TV with our tags underneath, so that will be really cool.

Can't wait, although now slightly nervous that I gushed over Darren a bit too much, and my family are going to watch...... acting like a love sick teenager might not go down too well with hubby!!!!
Will keep you posted on any changes to my living arrangements!

hey strictly addict did u manage to fit in Yorkshire Pud for Darren, I was put out of my suspense early in the results show as he was first through!! I LOVE him so much he's just amazing and he came second !! What did u say in ur VT for him?
