BTW. I had the same proem with the site freezing last night as others have reported. It happened about 4 -5 times, where I'd try accessing a thread, or posting a reply & it't just sit there doing nothing. I eventually gave up & got some sleep. Perhaps the SQL server jus couldn't cope with all the lovely posts about Bill & Karen or the intense interest in how our very own judges panel got on (Having seem last night's arguing & disent amongst the professional panel, perhaps the girls should get their applications in now?)

Hi Everyone, lovely to be back, the damn server went down just as I was posting my piece on last night so it got lost, afraid I am too knackered to attempt it again, so I'll just say it was wonderful to meet Peach and Strictly and Lady Boz, so sad not to meet Bees, but congrats on the engagement, hope you had a wonderful time.

I had a wonderful time, watching the show was ace, then the added bonus of recording a message for our faves, Strictly was hysterical when I was doing mine, all I could hear was this voice in the background going: "What do you mean they'll be in the final, what do you mean they'll win"
Lady Boz was faint over her beloved James, Peach was practically floating when Bill Came on, the less said about Strictly and Darren the better and as for me I was of course my usual demure, unassuming, adult self when Ian came on Oh ok I squealed with delight!!!!!

The beeb put us up in a v posh hotel, all marble and wood panelled walls.

Now Im home I cant believe its over, cept I'm so excited about tomorrow, doing this and being on here has reallymade my year. xxxx Star.

Oh yes and on the way to Strictly's house we saw a huge fire, someone had set light to a lorry at the side of the road, huge flames, huge smoke, fire engines and everything, very dramatic.

Hi all!

I'm back... had a wonderful time and hope we did you proud.. well I know the others did but haven't a clue what I said!!!!

Everyone was very friendly.. the BBC was extremely kind and generous and gentle with us.

Here is my weekend story...

I finally managed to pack my tiara and a few other bits sometime during the bewitching hour on Fri night/early Sat morning.. then I set off to work! Yes, work.. my lovely teacher friends had all agreed to cover my classes all day but I had forgotten to cancel a private lesson at 9.30 so I taught that lesson and then 2 more Drama classes while I was there before I left for the train station. I then met Startwirler on the train and we continued our journey to London where we met Lady Boz and after a little cab mixup we were on our way to Strictly's house - VERY EXCITED as you can imagine.
After a very quick get ready we were soundchecked and given a rundown of the night.
The producer was lovely.. and I really get the impression from all the BBC team I have talked to that they actually DO love this show as much as we do and are very enthusiastic about it.
They filmed a very cheesy opening with us all sat on the sofa and called to Lady Boz to come watch the show... then the show pretty much started... now I have a blank.. I don't remember too much about what I/we said... we DID get some references in from the forum but whether they use any of it I don't know... I did mention "RED LIPSTICK" in the Argentine Tango!
It was the quickest show I have ever watched.. it seemed to be over in seconds.. we then did a bit more discussion when the show finished and then recorded a personal message to our favourites... I wonder if you can guess who mine was to? That was rather nerve-racking as there really was no time to think about what to say.. again.. I have no idea what I may have said.
After we finished filming we said our goodbyes and did our hugs to strictly then went back to London where Lady Boz made her way home and startwirler & I checked into a very nice hotel I think startwirler was a little concerned that I was still wearing my tiara at this point!
I caught the last part of the results show in the hotel room and as you can imagine was devastated. I really do believe that they love to dance so much and seeing people left in who really don't have that connection/sparkle really upsets me.. but I know that is the nature of the show. I'm going to stop talking about that part now as I know that should be in another thread.. I'll continue in that one when I stop *sniff* crying.
Anyway, I am very thankful to all of you for posting with me on the forum, the BBC for inviting me to do this and especially the girls on the panel for a great night! I want to do it EVERY WEEK! (but I also want Bill & Karen back too!)

no, doubt it - just put it down to the server playing up - just after I posted th last post on this thread it went on a go slow and then crashed!
