The one on just now is trying to make out that Kate and Alex are destined to be together and are in fact in denial. As if.

The stuff that happened last week was all down to alcohol nothing else. I never see Alex approach Kate in the morning like he did Adele.

The psych said that Alext was jealous of Kate and Spencer and that it is why he complained about the oranges. Absolute crap, so if Spencer and PJ were juggling the oranges he would have kept quiet, I don't think so.

the psychologist was probably just vicariously playing out his desire to have a relationship with his own mum ; probably allegedly

Hmmm....but they hit the nail on the head when they said that Jonny will do anything to become the centre of attention.

The phsychologists know a lot more than you do..
They are trained for this type of thing, it is what they do for a living and they are able to tell how people think by the way they act.
You are saying you know more than a person who has no doubt passed a degree in psychology so until you have done the same then you can argue against it!!

Have to agree he spoke absolute rubbish.

Was the programme put together after he made his comments, it doesn't make sense - Kate had just finished telling BB in the DR that she would never be Alex's best friend or vice versa, but she was pleased that they could have a civil conversation.

I thinkmost of you will only say the psychologists are right if they agree with what you think - Perhaps if you call them inadvance to tell them what to say they won't have to bother going to Universiity and doing it professionally for years......

Rent a quote clowns. Exactly what do they say that we don't already know / have suspected?

Nothing. Because it wouldn't make family viewing to talk about Tim's Oedipal complex.

I think they had a point - I mean why didn't he remonstrate with Specer over the oranges as well?? It's pretty obvious to me that there's some sexual tension between them.

I dunno, but I think that there is a weird sort of attraction there.....Which they are probably both (esp Kate) embarrassed by..can't see 'lurve' but if there weren't cameras there think something else might happen. They both seem quite experimental....

Did I mishear, or did the one talking about Kate & Alex say that 'if they were the last two in the house for the last week'? Was this a Freudian slip or was I in fact not paying proper attention?

Their interpretations really depend on which school of thought & theory the psychologist subscribe to & I would imagine they vary considerably. No doubt Jung, Freud et al would each have stated opposing ideas. But at the end of the day, the BB pyschs. probably say whatever they're told to say by the producers and for some reason, they seem determined to show Alex in a bad light - all part of the great manipulation of the public. Before I'm attacked, on the E4 ticker-tape, it said that Alex left the DR last night, after the task, in a strop & yet he actually came out laughing!

its all a charade! the psychs are as guilty as the hm's- trying to get their 15mins of fame.

the way the psycs work on a day to day basis MUST differ from their tv work.

I have been thinking the exact same thing!

I like how they left out Kate baking a Birthday cake for Spencer, and then going into the diary room to sing Happy Birthday to him. They also left out Kate saying the other night, that even though Alex is good looking - she could never be with a guy like that.

So he was just in the way, and her true feelings are for Alex? Despite her saying the only people she'll keep in contact with are Jonny, Alison, PJ and Spencer.

I think there is an attraction, but to suggest it's anything more than what was between Alex and Adele, and Kate and Spencer is just silly imo.

Being the cynic I am, I wonder if what was said was to ensure they both make it to the last week? He said something about "if they make it to the last week"

Am I being too cynical?

He was quite stroppy for the rest of the night though. But that was down to him having a bad headache. Just saying, he did some more down than usual that night. Not having a go or anything.

I don't think the editing was against Alex to be honest. He has been down the past couple of days. Last week the editing was very favourable to him.

Yes. In their day to day work, they're not reading from a script.

The only psychologist who seems to talk any sense is Dr Sandra Scott .. her views on Jonny have been spot on week after week ... especially when she said in tonight’s episode that Jonny forever has a need to be the “centre of attention” and “steals the limelight from others”.. one of her examples was his voice-over commentary when Alex & Kate were having a more intimate moment; Jonny understanding the cameras would be focusing on such a moment had to include himself [and be at the centre] by adding commentary to the proceedings.. Quite nicely picked up by one of the better psychologists of the show.

I do have some sympathy for thes psychiatrists, they are paid for their professional opinion and that's all it is - an opinion.

Kate and Alex have been intriguing me all week, he insists he doesn't like her, but I'd put money on him liking her if Jonny wasn't around keeping her entertained. I've seen many examples this week of the two of them alone and they seem more than at ease with each other - i.e. in the bath, plus when playing darts the other night they were having a very long conversation. The guy obviously works best in 1-2-1 situations unless he's had a few drinks, I am fascinated to see what would happen if Jonny wasn't around.

I think he just said 'if they both last till the last week' or something like that, not implying that they would be the only two, just 'if they're there till the end'.

Before anyone goes spouting about these pyschologists having degrees and PhDs, they have another school of thought that none of you have picked up on....They work for Channel 4 and will twist whatever body language aspects of the contestants that exist if that's what the Channel 4 producers want them to do. I am not saying they are wrong concerning that Alex and kate fancy eachother and fear rejection, but the way in which they have done it, to tie in with Channel 4's editing is suspicious, plus their wording.

I think they always talk bollocks
They have a nice script to read from, or autocue.
Men are more articulate than women, because of crying or something, I didn't hear the end because I was crying with laughter what was that all about. Maybe it applies to Jade and Paul Gascoigne. It's just easy money for them.

That is because Alex only approaches Kate when she is too drunk to reject his boyish attempts to flirt and play Follow the Van. PATHETIC loser and creep, that's our Alex!

Don't talk nonense Mel. She wasn't exactly drunk when she decided to jump into a bath with him.
