Hooray for Holloway!
Easylistener
27-11-2005
I know it's only a small point but I'm sorry the show's producers have moved the welcome to Laurie Holloway and the singers from the head of the show to the end of the first dance.

In its original place that short reprise of the theme that accompanied their introduction added a little extra sense of something - now it almost looks like Bruce has forgotten to introduce them and is making up for it when he remembers, which is absolutely not the case!

Am I alone on this or do other want a better hooray for Mr. Holloway!?

No you're not, I've thought that too. It adds class having the live music and it would be lovely to have them thanked at the top of show. However, as long as Brucie does do it at some point, then that's ok with me.

By the way, I'm loving that a Holloway tribute thread is started by you with a name like "Easylistener" - it's very pleasing

yes i too am somewhat miffed at the apparent lack of enthusiasm in introducing the orchestra and singers..to be honest, imho, as most of the original couples are no longer in the competition, they could delete them from the opening credits and get more of the live show in..mind you i think that they could do that with ITT too..and where is the holloway thread?????

Miranya - I don't know if I misunderstood the end of your post but...
