A turnaround in opinion could be seen as predictable, it happened with Jade after all. However, in Jade's case, it was justified, she is an endearingly ignorant frankly entertaining character and, let's face it, she's been trying recently.
However, I must say I find the reasons behind all of a sudden supporting Tim shallow and nonsensical. In a way it's nice he's got some sort of support from various angles (well one angle) but the following comments made are bizarre:
"I find his hair antics pretty funny" Oh come off it, you must be easily pleased. This is clutching at straws, I can't believe someone would even rate this as worthy of watching. There aren't even hair antics, he vainly stares into a mirror now and then styling his hair. Not funny or even worth commenting on.
"I think he's actually a genuine guy" I disagree. There's a lot of facade there, a lot of covering up. His treatment of Sophie was disgraceful, anyone wanting to debate this matter with me is free to do so.
I also disagree with comments citing his affected way of speaking etc are part of why he is hated. Being posh doesn't do him any favours, but its his arrogance, snappiness and reluctance to get involved that have made him enemies.
Silly attempts to persuade us to support him, especially so weakly exemplified, won't make us change our minds. The only saving graces for him wcould happen if his "ingenuity" became humorous as opposed to seedy and detached, and if he starting involving himself in group activities to an amusing degree. Personally, I think it's too late. I feel sorry for him in a way, but he's brought it on himself. Friday night won't be nice for him; though although I don't support Tim, I don't agree with loud jeering and boos. I think it's childish and unneccessary.
