I really agree with you, happyfeet, i think it's a shame that the lesser known dancers ended up with lower profile partners and didn't have the fanbases to keep them in until they could improve. I thought both Siobahn and Jaye had great potential, and if they'd had Anton and Brendan, we would have had a chance to see more of them. Same for Matthew and Zorro - if they'd had Patsy and Fiona they might have survived longer. I think that, much as they say they don't know who they're getting, fan-faves like Brendan and Anton probably get some say in who they get.

Next year they should insist on mixing things up a bit more! And I would love to see Karen back, with a hot young thing as contrast to her friendly, fun partner this year. It would be great to see what she could do with someone different.

Oh xadie, you are getting soft...the contrast to a hot young thing is an prickly old thing

I was trying to think of a nice way to say it! See, I can be diplomatic when I try...

But he is a bit prickly and a bit old!

LOL when I read it cos I knew you were!

Thanks Star - not a recent event though, we have been engaged for 4 years this week! Although I'm the one dragging my feet how could I spoil the day he arranged after all that time. And it worked out fab because of going to SCD but more of that later if ppl are interested. Thrilled to hear about your day. Will take it to the ITT at my house thread...

I must admit of all the pros, Karen is my least favourite - sorry - and although she did do a great job with Bill, the main reason they stayed in as long as they did was due to Bill's fan base, rather than the actual dancing. He is a sweet man and he did improve vastly, but compared to all the other celebs, he was way behind and should have gone before Will

She was also shameless tonight in mentioning the choreography over and over, and her previous experience, making it crystal clear that she wants to come back; she probably will be back, but I'm still not as keen on her as the other female pros.

I am however, entitled to my opinion - yes?
