...to prevent real life sexual molestation/assault taking place on our tv screens.

I would urge everyone else on here to do the same.

what i do not understand is that there is a time delay to give BB and C4 an opportunity to block images and or sound. So why did they think it was OK to show what you say you saw? Clearly there is a marked difference of opinion as to whether what took place was just some friends fooling around, or as you seem to suggest, an actual and serious assault? I didn't see it, so won't comment further.

I think that's going slightly over the top?
I agree it was a bit mad and wrong of Kate and Jonny to strip Jade of her bikini bottom, but at the end of the day Jade was laughing and she has probably forgotten about it already... its up to Jade to complain really, if she feels she needs too...

best case scenario it was JUST sexual harrassment, but you didn't see it...you didn't cringe with the rest of us so r right not to comment further.

On the form, it says any scenes within a prog/ad that cause you concern, and them stripping Jade caused me concern. So, I'm going to submit the form along with my views.

It's not as if the 2 incidents tonight are the only times she's been stripped in the pool, it's happened 2 or 3 other times as well.

I think some of you people are acting way way over the top with what you are saying. It's absolutely rediculous.

I thoroughly agree. It was harmless fun and Jade lapped it up and did not in any way act, appear or say she was distressed - either during or after.

This is way, way over the top. I think I may have to write to say how much fun i thought it all was just to counter these insane comments.

The worst thing is that Jade doesn't even realise that she's been assaulted. Either that or her giggling was a 'defence mechanism', deflecting the seriousness of the situation. Either way - it no way for Kate or Jonny to behave and I will be complaining.

Way over the top.

Was Jade not at some points, laughing along with Jonny and Kate?

I think labelling this a "sexual molestation/assault" is just dangerous quite frankly. We're getting to the point in this country where you can barely breathe out of fear of offending somebody and it's only going to cause more damage.

We cry racism at things that really aren't (nursery rhymes are getting banned for gods sake!), we cry homophoebia at some shit joke, and now people are crying "assault" over something which the "victim" has gone along with numerous times, and was laughing at as usual.

For once, I really hope that this is just some anti Jonny or Kate thread rather than someone who really believes that that was an assault and would actually complain about it!

My argument is, if they think it's too bad to show during the live feeds, how can they then show some of it in a highlight package as entertainment. I don't see how they can.

From my understanding of the English language, when someone says, 'No', they mean no. Which means they don't want to indulge in their activities. The fact that Kate of all people was forceably holding Jades hands, so that she couldn't prevent Jonny from stripping her, is particularly bad in my mind.

One interesting thing to arise from sending my form. They say they'll inform you by e-mail with regard to your complaint, and if they think C4 have a case to answer to, they let you know what C4 say in their defence, which would be interesting enough in itself, and how they can justify it. Which could give you an insight into how and why the BB producers allow certain scenes to be shown.

I don't know if l would go as far as to say that Jade is being sexually assaulted but what l do know is that when these incidents happen she laughs it off but later on she complains about it to Alex.

There was one particular conversation when she counted the number of times that she has been nude in the house and moaned about what people would say on the outside.

Alex advised her that she should be more assertive and tell them to stop ripping her bikini off. He said "if l was a woman l would slap their face" and made it clear to her that she should not tolerate their behaviour.

I think in her attempt to manage the volitile situation she is in and not to piss people off any more than she has already, she is keeping quite and laughing it off but really she does not like being made the butt of their jokes.

Well, I had no qualms about sending in my complaint.

I'd like to see you try that on with someone you barely know in your local pool, and see how far you'd get.

She was forcefully stripped on both occasions, and those aren't the only one's either. She's been screaming her head off at times for people not to do things, and they've just simply ignored her, and I find that wholely unacceptable. It may seem ok to you, but it isn't to me.

What concerns me more, is that a girl can be forcefully strippped on national TV, and people can say that it's just a bit of fun, or having a laugh.

I saw this incident take place on Saturday afternoon and the version shown last night was heavily edited.
Does the fact that Jade & Jonny removed Kate's bikini after Jade's had been returned put this incident in a diffferent light?

This thread and (others on the subject) put me in mind of the advert from a couple of years back where a skinhead is seen to run with intent at someone only to rescue them from falling debris - thanks be for happy endings

If she had that much of a problem with it, she would have said so, instead of giggling.

The only person who has a right to complain about Jonny and Kate is Jade... She may have said something to Alex, but clearly she's not that bothered. If you've got a problem with channel 4 showing it, then moan away...

This is what I don't like though... When people start thinking and saying things for others.

Do people here honestly, truly think that this will inspire more assaults? Have any of these people moaning about this ever written in to the ITC or whoever about the violent or sexual nature of other programmes on television? Or is it just this one time?

I just can't see what the point in a complaint here is. Does anyone writing these complaints know what they'd like done about it? Jonny and Kate sent to prison? Or made to do community service? Along with Alex, for when he ripped Jades towel off as she screamed "no!" last week. And I guess PJ should join them, for when he did the same as well.

being non-digi i have already mention in another thread (i think in response to tracey) that i would like for the incident to be placed in context prior to running for my lynching rope.

the 30sec edit i saw did disturb me, but i was aware that it was a 30sec EDIT.

it concerns me that people have been far too quick to condemn and use inflammatory terms ('molesters').

while i may, after sufficient contextual evidence, accept the term harrassment (and be supportive of jade/c4/et al taking appropriate action) the use of other terms to describe this situation undermines the case of those who have suffered from REAL molestation/sexual assault/rape.

we ought not to allow this forum to 'cry wolf' on jades behalf in order to serve personal (trivial) ends - diminuition of support for jonny and kate. to do this would merely serve to belittle all valid instances of abuse.

Nicola .... you seem to be the only person who saw the removal of Kate's bikini.

Can you please confirm same???

Jade's bikini removal for me - was sound and and chickens with some aeroplanes in between.

Can you confirm Kate's bikini was also removed?

As you seem to be the only person on here to be able to confirm this (I was watching on E4 at the time - although perhaps the Feeds have shown more?)

Complaining about what was shown yesterday evening, is nothing to do with Jade making her own complaints. It's neither here nor there. The Broadcasting Standards Commission is there for the viewers to complain about any programme/scenes that's been shown, that concerns them, and those scenes concerned me.

What I would like to see happen regarding my complaint, is something quite simple really. I just want BB to simply tell the HM's that forceably removing people's clothes isn't acceptable or deemed as entertainment. Surely, that can't be a lot to ask.

If any HM had willfully taken their clothes off and ran around naked or had sex, I wouldn't have a problem, because they consented to it. But, the scenes with Jade made me personally feel uneasy, and it's not as if it's the first time it's happened to her.
