unlocking nokia 1100 (remote unlock failed 5 times)
hello everyone, I just bought a 1100 from woolies, on virgin
and want to use my o2 sim in it. i am aware that i need a cable solution to this problem and wondered if a usb cable like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NOKIA-1100-USB...QQcmdZViewItem could do the unlock job for me? any help appriciated. paul |

Have you got the necessary software to unlock the phone?
A cable on its own won't unlock the phone. For about a quid more than the price of just the cable (plus p+p), you could have the baby unlocked at a market stall. You know if you use the software incorrectly, you could knacker the phone completely don't you? |

You should be able to unlock it via typing a code in on the handset.
So a search for "online nokia unlocking". Gav |
