Ian - The Grrrrrrrrr Factor!!!!!!
startwirler3
28-11-2005
I am loving this new tough side of Ian, he seems so settled within himself and much more confident than before. (Not that he wasnt before) but he has raised his and Zoe's game incredibly and I think is one of few of the Proffesionals who has recognised the need to make it more complicated to stretch Zoe's capabilities, and boy has it paid off. I am waiting for explosions as the rest of this series continues.
Of course the Grrrr factor makes him even more sexy and hot!!!!!!
Oh come on did you expect anything less from me!!!!!!!!!

startwirler3 : You've not been taking your pink pills have you? Now sit down and take deep breaths and think of anything but Ian.

Pink pills whoops thought they were sweeties!!!! No actually have been taking pink ibuprofen for my back, do you think thats where the overenthusiasm about Ian is coming from.

i def agree that Ian was looking very manly on the ITT clips tonight, very firm plus nice hair....

Aw star, I think the food colouring on the pills might be setting you off...

The only 'Grrr' I feel for Ian is mild annoyance whenever it's Bruno's turn to judge him and Zoe! He seems like a nice fella, it's a shame I haven't been so keen on either of his partners. Maybe next year he'll get someone I love, and i'll fall in love with him too!

Oh, I'm just so fickle... (except where Anton's concerned!)

Startwirler, I'll join you in the crazy corner

Definitely loving the tougher Ian. Poor Zoe probably isn't so much during training, but look how well it paid off for them with their tango. In fact, I think I'd like to see more of the Ian we saw in the that. The smiley, cuddly Ian is awesome, but Ian with passion definitely works for me too

Star, I am with you on this one. I thought Ian was sex on legs in the tango on Saturday. Breathtaking stuff.

Can't miss the chance to rave about Ian ... I'm sure he's a fantastic and lovely person in real life, but can he act! When he hit the dance floor last Saturday, he looked the absolute epitome of marble-hearted macho man .. soooo masterful in everything he did he just about took my breath away .. and he didn't just throw Zoe around - he totally owned her until one could almost sense her 'surrender' to him!
I know, I know .... I'm not terribly objective where they're concerned, so I'd have probably given them 10's across the board just for the thrills and chills they gave me during their two-minute mini-drama!

This side of Ian was particularly evident this week especially as Zoe had been moaning 'I can't do it', 'It's too complicated' and 'That isn't simpler'.

He is right to push her cos she is obviously the celeb who has taken to ballroom dancing most (for whatever reason) and unless Iain pushes her the judges will get bored, start noticing the gap, get a keener interest in Colin or even Darren and mark her down.

I think this is an important aspect of SCD this year cos the standard is SO much higher than before and I think the judges are totally right to expect to see improvement and developement as the competition continues. I wonder if this is why they are not as keen on Colin as they are on Zoe, cos I am getting a little used to seeing Colin's performance as obviously in the top two or three and I wonder if Erin is letting Colin down by not pushing him, certainly NOT as much as Zoe is, as a consequence Darren is catching up fast.

Just my ramblings feel free to shout me down if you wish.

Star I think Ian is definitely more prrrrrr than grrrrrrr. I love him to bits and he's such a sweetie, and, yes, his acting in the tango was fab, but ultimately I can't imagine wanting to do anything more than cuddle up on the sofa watching a movie with him - not that that's a bad thing to do. Now Anton, on the other hand, sends out a completely different message:0) Anton could reduce me to a gibbering wreck in a second, while I think I could manage to have an intelligent conversation with Ian

Interesting point. Ian and Erin are very much a "safe" couple. You expect them up near the top, but I'm never wowed by their performances - certainly not like Zoe and Ian's tango wowed me this week. Sometimes, when watching Colin and Erin I have to admit to being slightly bored by the routine. Certainly, last Saturday whilst I thought the opening of their viennese waltz was where they danced by themselves looked pretty, it did seem ever so long.

Zoe did need pushing, and just look at how well it paid off for them. Erin would probably do well to put the pressure on Colin, too.

Thanks for the laugh that frosties image is wonderful, I have now conceded my self imposed ban on saluting the divine waite, ahh bliss, loved him comparing Erin to a witch from macbeth, and as for the scratching of nails on his back Oh dear doesnt take long does it. Glad it gave them fire anyway cos they were on fire on that dance floor, he can drag me across there any time, he's grrrrrrreat!!!!

Runs madly off thread as the men in white coats approach menacingly

Ian would just cuddle someone into submission - but I guess that would mean your head would be against his very firm body. Bet he smells nice, too.
