Is anyone else as shocked and enraged as I am by the cynical misuse of Dr Who's good name in the recent DVD release, "Abducted by the Daleks", which apparently tells the story of how the Daleks respond when they discover three naked lesbians romping in their Mothership?

Does anyone own a copy?

I thought it was red at first, but you're right, it is pink. What a novel idea. I'm quite curious to know what it sounded like when it spoke, that's the only reason i would even consider buying this travesty of a DVD.

And everyone up to now has been in denial about gay daleks.

Probably the most controversial of TV Offal's regular features, the Gay Daleks: "They're camp ! They exterminate ! Better watch your backs ! It's the Gay Daleks !" You either feel that the sketches are crude, tasteless and offensive, or they're a splendid parody of both the Daleks and of gay cultural stereotypes; late night Channel 4 viewers (on the whole) would interpret them as the latter which is probably just as well given the content.

Incidentally a similar Dalek porn movie did avoid the eyes of the BBC.

Blame it on the BBC archivists in the first place for accidentally burning the telerecordings for Power of the Daleks way back in the dark days of the 1970s, which actually showed that the Daleks are asexual and reproduced through some form of cloning (just like the Sontarans).

Actually since they are mutants most of the Daleks were mutated from humanoids either alive (see The Dead Planet and Genesis of the Daleks) or dead ( Revelation of the Daleks ).

Not forgetting also, The Parting of the Ways.

I must admit I watched the trailer for Abducted by Daleks and it was painfully bad :yawn:
