Anyone listening to their stuff? I have the most recent album, and I'm really loving it. Superb stuff.

I heard them on something the other day - I'm not sure about them, but then I wasn't sure about the Killers to start with, or the Kaiser Chiefs but now I am a confirmed fan of both.

I've only really heard Hope There's Someone. The biggest shock for me was putting the face to the voice - I was expecting an old black guy to be honest.

So why is he hanging out with Boy George ?

Is this another Doherty / Elton John story in the making ?

Hope There's Someone is incredible. I remember hearing it in the car on the way back from Windermere in the summer and the first thing I did when I got back in the house was download it. It's really original with so much emotion in it.

I first discovered his music about 9 or 10 months ago, just a few months after discovering Rufus Wainwright. I think they are both great. Different and a refreshing change.

You should check out Antony guesting on the Rufus Wainwright track "old Whore's Diet"

It's a fantastic song.

Did you see him last Friday night (16th Dec) in a one hour concert on BBC 4. It was a fantastic programme. I wonder if it will be repeated over and over again like so many other programmes on BBC 3 and 4!

I saw him last year with Lou Reed. He was doing backing vocals for the tour, but he sang lead on "Candy Says" - absolutely stunning !! It's one of Lou Reed's most beautiful songs and Antony does an amazing job of it. It's available on the last Lou Reed live album "Animal Serenade".

I also saw him a couple of weeks ago doing his own show with the Johnsons. A really great gig.

I saw them live a couple of months ago, and they were absolutely fantastic. Plus Antony's so modest, and completey nutty

Ooh, Lou Reed and Nina Simone - two of my all time favourite artists! Now I like Antony even more than I did before.

Thanks for the very interesting information, folks.

I also thought, and Ive never been a fan of his, that Marc Almond was superb on it as well.
