I love them all but I think this saturday either Patsy or James will have to leave........and I think it hinges on which dance James is doing - if it's ballroom he'll stay, if it's latin he'll go........

views/comments anyone?

They're doing two dances so James could be doing ballroom and latin.

I think (and it's not rocket science) that the two people most vulnerable are Patsy and James.

Although if Colin is in the bottom of the table with the judges, there could be a shock exit.

Darren has no chance of leaving (huge public support) and neither does Zoe (huge judges' support).

Hate to bring doom and gloom to all Patsy and James fans, especially my fav friend the Lady Boz, but I have to agree looking at who is left in.
With fear of affending even more I have to say I think James is the better dancer out of the two and so if anyone should go it is Patsy, although concerned Anton will committ hari kari if he is not in the final!!!

Completely agree Shappy, Patsy or James are the ones in the danger zone this week. I really hope your suggestion about Colin going out doesn't come to pass! That would be a travesty of justice!

Agree with vodachick, it does depend on what both Patsy and James pull out of the bag so to speak. They are technically the weakest two left...sad but true....so I doubt any of the other couples are going to be drawn into it this week.

I agree that James is prob the better dancer (just) on average, BUT he's so variable

Yes ,but maybe not so up and down, (or in and out... dress joke) as Patsy and I think he has greater public support, he has certainly been on the road a lot and has taken Camilla with him to rally the votes.

It would indeed be a travesty. Colin is the one my head supports, say if I were to be judging purely on performance, but unfortunately it's my heart that usually leads the way, galloping off in any direction it chooses, and hence I'm gunning for James to stay in - at the expense of Patsy, much as it pains me to say, as I love the girl's humour.

its just got to be james or patsy in final two this week with either going

I'm hoping the bottom two will be James and Patsy, and wishing that James would go, although really the fairest result would be for Patsy to go. I think it depends on how they do on the night, really, as James has proved to be hugely popular and I think after last week's lucky escape, so has Patsy. If Patsy manages to pull off the fantastic dance that we all know she's capable of, and gets herself up to the top of the table again, the bottom two could be anyone! Same for James, I can't see him getting better than third, but he must have a really big fanbase.

It could even be Colin to go this week! I hope not...

Both Patsy and James are capable of putting in really great performances, which they intersperse with very disappointing dances.

The top three are obviously far more consistent, but they could be in danger, as Patsy's and James' fanbases will be very alert to the probability of them going out this week, and may vote in droves, so that if either James or Patsy squeaks in ahead of Zoe, Colin or Darren with the judges, we could have a shock exit.

I think be prepared for a upset, as the public vote will be key, a slightly less than perfect performance could see Zoe in there, if you don't get top marks from the judges it's could very well be your time.

I have assumed (maybe wrongly) that Colin will be made safe with the judges vote - HOWEVER - here's my acid test - when i watch the saturday show again using sky+ I always feel the need to fast forward over colins dances - he is great but for some reason i don't care about watching him.......however I still think he'll be safe due to being good technically....

But Zoe's less than perfect performances still get marked higher by the judges than other celeb's perfect ones (Colin springs to mind). So she's unlikely to be anywhere but the top two on the leaderboard.

Totally agree with you vodachick - if i'm watching the show live, i usually have a hot choccie break during Colin's dance - not because he's a bad dancer - quite the opposite - but he doesn't excite me in the same way as some of the others (perhaps he's too slick so I have no doubts they'll put in a good performance) whereas some of the others are amazing one week and then it all falls apart the week after....
As for who will go this Saturday - methinks it'll be Patsy and Prince Charming...but I wouldn't bet my humble little abode on it.

I actually agree, and would like colin and erin to leave. I dont find their dancing anything special to watch, and the fact that they think they are better than everyone else gets right on my nerves. and want them out THIS WEEK!!! i love patsy and anton, and darren!

Either colin or james to go!

Looking at the scores so far. I would say that James has been more consistant than Patsy. Patsy more variable.

Patsy

19 - 26 - 35 - 31 - 26 - 31 - 24

James

22 - 29 - 28 - 29 - 29 - 20 - 32

Shappy I should have been clear, anyone not gettting top score will be at reisk. Zoe has got futher to fall in the eyes of te judges, and without sounding like a Colin basher I personally feel that if Erin dosen't stop sounding like Ricky Ponting and start excepting the score they get which is always better than any other male celeb then they will find themselves out on there ear.

As far as I can figure out they are all doing a Latin dance this week and the American Smooth.

They all have 2 Latin dances and 1 ballroom left so if the semi final works the same as last year they will all have to do a latin to leave them with one of each.

I think the one to go will be between Patsy, James and Colin. Zoe and Darren seem to be safe based on their popularity with the judges and/or the public. As for the other three...

Patsy - Her amount of public support is a mystery. Surprising bottom 2 two weeks ago, but saved from bottom this week. Anton has huge support which certainly helps. Her dancing is erratic - if she gets the paso I think she could rock it, the jive would probably see her out.

James - Apparently doing the samba which doesn't inspire me with confidence after his jive. To me it just doesn't feel like his kind of dance. News stories may have affected his popularity with average joe public.

Colin - Not as good at latin. His long limbs may work against him in the ccc. Seems to have quite low public support so a low judges score may put him in danger.

There's also an outside chance of Zoe going considering she is doing her less favoured latin. But I have a feeling she could simply stand there, shake her maraccas Julian-style and still get a 10.

In fact, Darren seems to be the only one who is utterly safe! (You know he is so going out after I've typed that - oops! )

Overall, the most likely candidate seems to be Patsy, having been in the bottom 2 two weeks in a row. Pains me to say it as a fan of her and Anton but I'm looking on brightside - I thought they were definitely out this week so getting another week was a huge unexpected bonus! And they'll all be back again for the final.

What a wonderful, positive attitude that is! It's hurtful/depressing for a personal fave to go out but it's really not the end of the world.

I reckon it'll definitely Patsy & Anton, to me they are the worst dancers and the couple I like the least.

Could be James and Camilla, but I think they'll be the week after as he can dance a bit better than Patsy and the whole romance with Camilla thing has given the viewers some interest in them.

So yeah, I say Patsy and Anton! I really hope they go!

It SHOULD be Patsy and Anton, but as has been proved at least twice this year 'there's nowt quite so fickle as the public'.

I do think that James is the next most vulnerable, though he has shown improvement, whereas Patsy to be honest has been going backwards in terms of performance.

I do think that Colin has got to do something to get the judges notice, he IS good, but he is not being pushed and with Darren improving each week, it just takes an odd slip up here and there and bang Colin is in the bottom two and goes, not very likely but it could happen.

BUT on the whole series and current voting trends I would be almost certain that Patsy and Anton will be going.

At this point in the competition, assuming no ties in the judges' scores, and that an absolute tie in the viewers' scores is exceedingly unlikely, there is only one scenario where the top scorer with the judges can go out - if the viewers' votes are exactly opposite to the judges' votes.

However, it is almost as hard for the second-placed couple to go out. They would have to get the lowest public vote, the lowest-placed couple would have to come 2nd or better and the fourth-placed couple 3rd or better with the viewers.

Probably Patsy and Anton this week, but given how much Patsy has improved, she's a winner for getting so far, to put a positive spin on it .....

And Anton can go back to being Rob Brydon's stunt-double.

It could be Patsy and Anton - but they are entertaining and Patsy does come across as more human which may touch a chord with people. I was surprised that they survived the public vote against Bill and Karen, but having done so, especially if they do the Paso Doble, they could be well up there this week.

If I had my choice it would be Colin and Erin or James and Camilla (sorry, Lady Boz) - preferably the former, who do absolutely nothing for me. The only dance of their's I really liked was the samba.

The situation is too fluid to make any predictions - there's even a chance that whoever is top with the judges could go, and the likes of Colin hasn't had his fan base tested yet.

It will be an interesting show.
