advice on repairs , buying new tv , Evesham lcd
I have a 5yr. old grundig idtv which stopped working , think its the tube , when switched on it has a blank screen with a white line shaped like a tornado . Any thoughts on whether its worth trying to get it fixed ? I am in London .
Im thinking I might have to get a new one but am undecided between plasma and lcd . I believe lcd has better resolution but am tempted by plasmas better colours and cheaper price . However I am quite worried about burn in . I have seen some sets which claim to have a special anti screenburn system , anyone know if this is any good ? Also have seen several sets marked as HD compatible - is this the same as HD ready ? Also has anyone seen the Evesham 37" lcd ? Any thoughts on quality ? Any advice on any of this appreciated . |
