42" TV bracket for Corner of a Room
Hi all, anyone know the best way to mount a 42" in the corner of a room without putting it on a stand, ie, having on the wall but in a corner.
Any help would be great, thank you. |

Found one HERE - rather expensive though.
Plenty of articulated arms available at reasonable prices for small screens, but not much for bigger ones. Personally, I'd be wary about hanging a 42" screen from an arm - the load on the fixing screws would be very high. Even rawl-bolts might get pulled out, making a mess of your TV. A safer option would be to get a steel frame made to fit into the corner, with two crossbeams welded on. You could then fit a standard VESA wall mount onto the frame, and fit the TV to the mount. A cheaper option would be to get a shelf made and fitted, then stand the TV on the shelf. Safest option would be to get a length of RSJ (or other suitable steel beam) cut into the wall, across the corner. A VESA mount could then be fitted to the face of the beam. |
