Ah well seems I'm a voice crying in the wilderness - again!!!

You are all happy with C4's efforts so that's funky and I'm sure they will be very pleased in Charlotte Street.

I still think it stinks but hey - I don't like Graham Norton so I MUST be a freak

I'm not a techie at all (I know where the "ON" switch is though

) but I suspected that was the case. Your theory about bandwidth etc is fair, but why have I not been able to get it ALL day today? Can't believe the URL's traffic is consistantly that high, and if it is surely they should be doing something about it's accessability?

No pie dish for us I'm afraid: just an aerial bought with the "roof the church" fund a few years ago (congregation has to wear hats for autumn/winter masses which we got from the clothing for Bosnia fund).

I've been away for the weekend, and feel all invigorated and highly turbulent, and up for "anything". But no-one seems to be aroung (except you and LadyK now). My beloved Pistch is away for 2 weeks (though we're emailing each other).

What do you mean they all like C4? The channel? Or something specific about BB? The coverage of said tv proggy??

Myfanwy,

Could be a number of reasons. Possibly a problem with your ISP's connectivity (where you able to access other sites?), a general techie problem at their end or unusually high traffic, or they could possibly be doing some sort of fix or upgrade to their servers.
