This week Patsy to go but I feel that Erin's EDITED comments and Colin's lack of DANCE charisma have brought the hatchet over them.

Darren is too cool and loves it and I feel will have big audience vote. I feel Lilla wins a lot of votes herself too.

James was great on ITT and likewise has big fanbase + the Camilla effect is working +++'s for them.
James showed on SAT he has the passion for the dance if not the high technical skill of CJ.

Got a strong feeling that COLIN could be in the bottom 2 even though he is technically very good.

Something about his dancing doesn't quite do it for me?

What do you reckon? and what is it?

I sincerely hope not as it would be a slap in the face for true talent.

It's a thought that has definately crossed my mind...I do think it would be unfair for them to go, considering, but I wouldn't say he's safe by any means. However, my money's still on Patsy to leave this week. After that, however- it could well be him.

Not really as being a dancer means capturing the spirit of it, which is something darren g does so well! and so does zoe, and even patsy, even thought she isnt as techincally good!! you can feel the vibes coming off them! colin is just dont know how else to say it!

BORING!! sorry no offence to the man sure he's lovely! but just always make a coffee when they come on!

And i would have to say be happy if they were out this week, following them always complaining about their scores and how everyone else isnt as good but they get better marks!?? maybe because they are better performers!

I know but the audience vote will bring a few surprises now I reckon!

I've got a feeling that James would go before Colin, mind you, I'm at that stage where i don't want anyone to go!
Zoe's not safe either, people think she's the automatic winner and may stop voting on the theory that she's having loads of votes anyway and theirs won't make any difference.

Nah, I think Colin will be in the final. I have a feeling that James and Camilla will go this week, but I want Zoe out.

Yes, I agree and James is the only one who has made an effort to get more audience votes.
This could be a great show Sat , think Erin deserves to be in the bottom 2 as she sounded bitter even though the clever editing made it worse.

I know what you mean... he has always been technically very good but a bit lacking in passion and personality on the dancefloor.

And the stories of Darren, James, Bill and Dennis have been more interesting and something for the viewers to latch on to.

I think there's a chance you'll be right here WS. With only 5 couples left, Colin and Erin can easily be caught in no-mans land, with the 'joodges' placing them say 3rd, and the public voting for the likes of James and Anton for personality reasons.....One thing's for sure though, it's going to be a close one this week!

If its on dance ability Patsy should go this week. Also she just doesn't have the public support.

But the advantage that Patsy does have and to an certain extent James also, is that their fans know that they have to vote to keep them in.

Colin and Zoe's fans haven't been tested yet and might take it for granted that they are save thus not vote.

Good point Selena. All we can do is vote for our favourite, not the one we least want to go from the bottom two. Mine will always be Anton though! tehee.

Yes, Denise Lewis had a similar problem but turned it around when she dropped into bottom 2.

Colin's missing something but what is it?

I don't know what you are talking about when referring to Colin. He has a bubbly personality and gives it 100% on the dancefloor. He's not a moaner like some, and always takes the judges comments on board.

What exactly do you want him to do?

Sympathetic airtime!

He's the one celebrity left who is probably still a stranger to anyone who didn't know of him before. Although it's looking as though the Beeb might finally be relenting at last.

I think he needs to put more emotion into his dance. He's also found it relatively easy - Darren struggled a bit in the beginning but has come to really enjoy his dancing. Patsy has had her moments, Zoe has been amazed she can do it and James has had the romance with Camilla to keep him in the public frame. Colin hasn't had anything touchy feely to do really and that's what I think is his big problem.

I agree but .....

Show some passion and edge, it's the factor he's missing

Darren
James
Anton
Lillia

have it (in my opinion) you want to watch them and there is a spark!

My money's on CJ or Zoe to drop and Daz to move into pole position.

I still think the facet that Colin is a very private person isn't helping. I felt that when I read his book that he kept holding back on anything that was to personall. They should get his mates or some of his relatives on to say how nice he is. They could follow him round for a day, I'm sure the BBC wouldnt show anything he didnt want them too X

Well said Annied! One comment was made by Erin and one comment about a 10 by Colin (repeated by editing 5 times) and it has never been forgotten as people go on and on about it. But was I the only one to hear Anton going on about a 10 last night and has it been mentioned NO! Or the fact that Darren wants to beat Colin but that is just brushed aside.
People really have the daggers out for Colin and Erin and it is just not right.

The judges have never mentioned the lack of passion.

Colin and Erin have every right to moan about the judges undermarking them, especially when Zoe is being overmarked for making mistakes!

moaners get nowhere though! and at least zoe was encouraging people to vote for patsy, and complimenting everyone else not picking holes in things they did wrong! its just quiet catty!

Yes, but when it goes on week after week it just becomes a joke and people get annoyed. It's quite understandable.

Call me cynical, but I still think it's been a ploy on the part of the Beeb to stop him running away with the competition. Colin's always come across as a lovely guy with a happy, bubbly personality. Put that together with an abundance of natural ability and, had he been given the same sympathetic treatment as the other competitors, I think we may not have got the close competition that it's now turning out to be. The Beeb have got what they want, but I just hope they haven't left introducing Colin to the public too late and that he loses out as a result.
