It isn't that I don't like James, but I don't like the begging for votes and go on a campaign with the whole tel number on the back of his T-shirt. I haven't seen Colin and the others doing that. I personally like some modesty.

I have the feeling that each of the contestants have a large group of core fans. And that there is a (neutral) group that really looks at the performances and vote for who is simply the best. I think Colin and Erin will still get a lot of votes of this group of people because they are very good.

Colinians all over Great Britain unite and vote!

Well Zoe and Ian went campaigning on the Brighton Pier 2 weeks ago, performing for the passers by and asking them for their votes.

The American smooth will allow DAZZA and James to get up with Colin as Lilla and Camilla are far more creative with the Chorography.

Colin will have the tension of the bottom 2 !

Some people get so carried away with the competition, that they forget what one of the main reasons behind the contest in the first place.

Dazz and James to slug it out in the final, Colinians be worried .

Maybe it's as testostrone thing and Colin ain't got it.

Ask any 10 people and there is his problem.

Colin's missing something but what is it?”

I can assure you that for a beginning amateur male, his technique is quite good.

(And this is where I may get strung up... ) I think that overall, teams on this show take it entirely too seriously...Colin most of all. There IS such a thing as worrying too much about the bottom line. Dancing is supposed to be fun - and over doing it on the competitive tension tends to destroy that. Don't get me wrong - being competitive is good, but when that competiveness leads to negative tensions and attitudes, forget about improving or winning. Judges (and TV audiences) are naturally drawn towards couples that are relaxed, happy and have that sense of fun. While Colin's dancing is technically quite good, I get the sense that for him this is more "job" than it is pure pleasure.

And THAT is what will ultimately be his undoing.

Cheers!

If anyone's going to make a shock exit, it's Colin!

James & Camilla are sweet and adorable and I think they'll get Bill's sympathy vote, Darren's improvement has been amazing and Lilia's ace!! Zoe & Ian will get through on judges vote.

BORING!! sorry no offence to the man sure he's lovely! but just always make a coffee when they come on!

And i would have to say be happy if they were out this week, following them always complaining about their scores and how everyone else isnt as good but they get better marks!?? maybe because they are better performers!”

You really make a coffee when they dance??? Altough I'm a fan of Colin, you're remark is really funny .

But they didn't complain every week just with the Foxtrot. They were always pleased with the previous marks they got from the judges and always said they were fair and accurate. So I don't understand why people are saying now that they complain too much. Just like Patsy and James are standing up for themselves so do Colin and Erin.

I know I don't need a coffee, Colin is hot enough to handle

I like Colin and especially Erin, they're such a competitive couple with real drive and determination.

I thought they looked great on ITT this week. They were focused yet still having fun, giggling and being silly.

COLIN & ERIN TO WIN!!

I'm not sure whether this thread is a witch hunt against colin jackson or not but i think he's the best male celeb dancer in the competition. I think the public will vote fairly on who is the worst dancer on the night. As far as going to make a coffee when colins on i don't understand that comment. the man has handled himself with dignity. he's been nothing more than gracious he never takes anything forgranted. he is nothing more that a guy who likes to win exactly the same as darren. when darren makes comments like "i want to beat colin's score" everyone says he's passionate if colin says he wants to get a 10 he is called competitve and arrogant. The reason why colin got to the top of his field is because of his single mindedness.

COLIN TO STAY IN

Errrr, has it become a boxing match? And here was me thinking it was a dancing competition.

Here, here.

It was alright for James to set himself target scores to beat (and get a cake for his efforts!!), but completely different for Colin.

I think what this thread and the ones against Zoe illustrate is that there really is no competition anymore - Darren will be the runaway winner. There has not been a single anti-Darren thread so far.

I dont think that this was meant to be an anti-Colin thread.

All the OP said was that he felt that there would be a shock exit this week with Colin leaving.

I dont see anything wrong with that. He was only saying who he thought would go.

James was great on ITT and likewise has big fanbase + the Camilla effect is working +++'s for them.
James showed on SAT he has the passion for the dance if not the high technical skill of CJ.

Got a strong feeling that COLIN could be in the bottom 2 even though he is technically very good.

Something about his dancing doesn't quite do it for me?

What do you reckon? and what is it?”

May I submit that there is NOTHING wrong Colin's dancing. From the outset he has shown great ability, poise and grace and yes chemistry with Erin. From Day One he has simply got on with the job of competing. Even Darren G has now dropped his jokey blokey rivalry with James and recognises Colin as his real competition. Zoe Tomboy-turned-Ballroom Diva is being PUSHED hard by Colin and Erin. And Patsy and Anton really have to go some if they wanna get to the standard that Colin and Erin are at. Hardly a week goes by when Colin isn't singled out for praise by either the judges or outside professionals like the Salsa couple or the Argentinian coaches

If on the other hand you are talking about the public vote (which I really think you are), that is anyone's guess. Will Thorp went out the other week despite a strong Tango while James stayed in with a rather poor Jive

I guess I should have said that there are no threads suggesting Darren is going to leave or that there is anything wrong with his dancing/attitude/marks awarded. I do like Darren so I'm happy about this but I do think it gives an indication about who has overwhelming popular support.

But Bill also stayed in that week over Will and his rumba was the worst performance of that night. (I love Bill but i'm just trying to be honest)

I agree with you about Bill Selena but I only singled James because for me James was the worst of the night

I'm curious now. If you're making coffee, presumably you're not actually watching Colin and Erin?

I really like Colin and Erin. It really annoys me the way the BBC edited them and kept showing clips of Colin saying that he's going to get a 10. This is a competition. Of course, they should be striving for the top. But the way, the BBC edits it, it makes him look really arrogant which he is clearly not.

I'd prefer James to go over Patsy though. I really didnt like the campaigning for votes either and his dancing doesnt do anything for me.

Vote for Colin and Erin!
