They do not pay for the connection from a mobile. so IMHO you should pay from your mobile your land line rate, less about 1p per minute. |

I think the point that originally came up here isn't about paying for 0800 calls per se, it's about the fact that Orange have only just started charging for those calls on contracts, and aren't being helpful when people start questioning the change to their T&Cs. Hope I've got it right, folks! Sarah |

Check out this link...
Hello all,
My anger with orange led me to have a look about for other discusson boards that deal with this issue. Try http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...1&page=2&pp=10 It seems some people have had luck getting the free 0800 put on the account for another year. I haven't tried currently messing about with NTL (another story!). I will have a go and keep you all updated! |

Second Time Lucky!
Having read the posts over the last couple of days (and followed the link to Money Saving Expert) I tried Orange again and what do you know! Having mentioned I knew about the bundle and how I'd been told it didn't exist last Friday, I was left on hold for two minutes and then given the 0800 add on.
This whole change is a joke. Orange need to go back and look at how they grew successful in the first place and start thinking customer again, as from that profits grow. |

Sorted!!
Evening all,
I called Orange and said that I was unhappy that my girlfriend and mate had the free freephone bundle added to their contracts (identical to mine) for 12 months. The call handler said she did not have a clue what I was talking about and that 0800 calls will charged. I politely asked to speak to a TM. The TM offered no resistance and put it on for a year... give it a go and report back! |

I'm an E50 customer (since approx September 1999) and have asked them for clarification in writing on the change in conditions - they simply cited a disclaimer that allows them to change the T&C's when they like. The woman I spoke to used classic customer service behaviour to 'moderate' the conversation and was wholly unhelpful. I have 2 phones on ED50 and I can see that Orange will continue to try and force the old users off it. The future used to be bright - it's just cynical now.
