Anyone know where Toppy available in London?

I'm looking to get either it or the Humax from a walk-in store in order that I can return it quickly in case of problems. I know Superfi do them, but don't have them in stock (and are very expensive!)

Cheers!

Obvious place to try would be Turbosat's London store, on Holloway Road (nearest station is Archway tube, or Upper Holloway BR).

Take a look at www.toppy.org.uk/shops.php for more suggestions - you might find some Euronics branches that have it in.

Cheers. The turbosat store is just down the road ffrom me. Alas, they charge 20% (!!!!) restocking so if I can't get a picture in my area I lose about £50! (Postcode check says I should get signal, but older boxes didn't)

Sounds like you are as close or closer to Crystal Palace than me (East London) and I have been getting a good digital signal since 1999 I think it was; with one of the first OnDigital boxes. The postcode checks are usually pessimistic if anything.

Wonder if there is some particular reason why your old boxes had problems; in some kind of blind spot or aerial set up maybe.

All tv signals where I live are ropey. I'm in Highgate, but in a bit of a valley. Plus the external aerial on the house is knackered (I'm renting so don't want to pay to get it fixed)
