I think we also have to taken into account the fact that the nomination results are not what the public expected, or wanted for that matter. The public may perceive the split possibly in-favour of Alex, looking at the alliance between Kate, Jonny and Jade as fake-as-they-come [two faced].. Kate was at least expected to vote for Jade for the various arguments they have had over the past week and all of the things Kate has been saying to various housemates about their strained relationship.. the same can be said of some of the others in terms of the strange voting pattern. It could just be enough for the public to side with the minority on this, which could then carry through to the one who survives for the final week.
Jonny has already asked Tim if both he and Alex feel that they have been ‘betrayed’ by the other housemates, quite obviously its on his mind. He’s more than aware that the public might be seeing it this way too..
