I think Alex will again become stronger once Tim has left. Just as he did when Sandy and Adele left. He just picked himself up and became stronger because of it.

I can quite understand his dread of staying in the house with the noisy and smug Jade (getting louder each day because she is safe) and Kate and Jonny who will no doubt feel they have to act more because there are so few people in the house.

It would not be my idea of fun either!

Even stronger than what? Alex is unbelievably weak. He totally does not deserve to win this year's BB.

I'm seriously starting to think about voting for Jade next week.

I can't understand all the jonny support - did anyone see the shopping on sunday - jonny wanted £40 worth of ciggies. I find that appalling what about the HM's???

He really is an odd person who has occasional outbursts of "fun" although one wonders how spontaneous these little incidents really are?

The editing on C4 last night didn't really show this either but when Jade and Tim began to cook the chicken jade said to tim "I don't know why I'm bothering to do this because Jonny is just going to come and take over" and then we had the scene which was aired on C4 with Jonny ranting about the water in the chicken tray blah blah blah.

He has to be totally in control - the moment he thinks something is going on he jumps on the bandwagon...

All the housemates who are "being themselves" are starting to show flaws...

Alex - talking about leaving
Tim - bored to death / hair
Jade - well where to start - you know the drill
Kate - starting to get bored and a little bit whingy

The only "perfect" housemate is Jonny - it is not normal to be in that environment without cracking up by now unless you are wearing your "mask" 24/7.

Bearing in mind this is a game show Jonny is so far doing the best - in the popularity race with the public so hats off to him.

...don't try and say that he is the most "genuine" HM because lets face it nobody can go 9 weeks and still not be affected by the environment.

The "real" Alex was revealed the moment he walked through the door with his incessant whinging and "weegate" and yet he seems to have lasted this long - miraculously...

Unfortunately for Alex this isn't an excercise in being yourself this is a gameshow which comes down to doing things to get the public to vote for you to win and that I'm afraid seems to be Jonny's speciality...

Alex is SPINELESS! But he won't walk. This is just a ploy to gain sympathy from within the house and from the public who might feel he has been mistreated, especially by Kate. But did he think that by allying himself with Tim alone he wouldn't be up for eviction.

As much as I'd love to see him disappear under the garden gate, I have to agree.
As to his allegence to Dim (oops typo! ) We shouldn't be surprised after alligning himself early on with that miserable scottish git Sandy . So we can add "poor judgement" to the list of Alex's star qualities

I really think Kate will be the one who helps Alex through that last week if he stays.

I can't see Alex having any kind of conversations with Jonny or Jade as he just has very little patience with them (that's a weakness of his), where as him and Kate, whilst they'll never be great mates, will probably spend more time together whilst Jonny and Jade banter. He'll probably that it's no where near as bad as he thinks.

I think the only mistake Alex has made is choosing his friends. Adelle, Sandy and Tim are his real enemies within not Jonny, Kate and co. Alexs friends are so full of venom towards others and have picked Alex as an allie as he was not afraid to speak out on his beliefs. When will ppl realise that Jonny, Kate and Alex are the most genuine hms left.

Cword100 - I bet anything you are a Johnny fan! Why do I say that the tone of your post! You are not putting forward an argument of your viewpoint just a load of abuse.

Alex supporter's view him as strong - in some ways - because he is whinging, moaning etc - he is strong enough to be himself in the house, whether or not the public are going to like him for it. He is not strong in other ways, granted. He has a deplorable choice in other HMs, but then I suppose he is limited to a small choice. Up until now though he has picked himself up and reintegrated into the group. He is strong enough not to pretend to like people (ie Johnny), he has lost patience with Jade (as has everyone else but for some reason they have not nominated her this week, I wonder why!), and has said a few things to her to let her know this (not just moaning about her behind her back like everybody else).

I suppose, really, we think Alex is strong because he is being himself "warts and all" and not trying to be the perfect HM - which is how we see Johnny (as fake, just creating a persona to win the game). Obviously, Alex doesn't see winning as more important that his own principles/feelings.

I hope Alex stays in and fights, although if he doesn't I think it all might backfire on Johnny, with Kate or Jade winning.

Ok you think alex strong because he is himself in the house, what confuses me is.........................did you see his face when performing the roller skate task? He'd rather have been sticking pins in his eyes.............ok thats him being himself, showing how pissed off he is...............BUT............ what does he think the tasks hsould be? The reason Alex was gutted after the noms were announced was because he was p*ssed off that all the other 3 HMs had voted for Tim. He was fully expecting it to be him & Jade (at least) because as far as he could see no-one had a problem with Tim, therefore they were just voting tactically.

This is not a theory, this is what he actually said (condensed, obviously).

I can understand Alex being cheesed off. When he applied to go on BB he was under the impression it was a reality TV show not a stage play.

Following the outcome of this weeks nominations he realises that Tim's departure will leave him with Jade (nuff said) and the main protagonists in this farcical show, Kate and Jonny.

I can see absolutely nothing natural about Jonny's and Kate's behaviour throughout the entire series. They have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure maximum camera exposure and if I was in Alex's position I would also be at the end of my tether.

Kate and Jonny have made a mockery of the whole BB experience. It's claims to be a 'reality TV show' have been shattered by these two thespian wannabees. The most unfortunate thing is the public seem ignorant to the fact.

One problem there Benson. Big Brother isn't a reality tv show it's a game show where obviously the key is to win.

I would offer to help Alex pack his bags.. but the HM's are not allowed contact with the outside world.

He is a father trying to defend his son, don't knock him for it.
