Hello again everyone!

This is officially my
favourite thread! Chatting about Darren & Lilia, Cricket & Brett Lee all at the same time! I must've died and gone to Heaven!
Great to read all of your posts.

Lillia is a fantastic competitor and seems a lovely person. Their partnership has been wonderful to see and also an inspiration to that section of the male population that might be hardest to pull onto a dancefloor.

ITA with both of these very important points, which contribute to the public vote. It's interesting how different people think and feel about things. During last year's series, I was chatting to a young black man in his 20s, who praised Julian Clary to the skies for "coming out of his comfort zone and doing a manly dance like the Paso when it wasn't natural for him."
Whilst his view of Denise was: "Well, she's a black woman, she automatically has a natural rhythm, so it's nothing surprising to me she can dance!" I must admit I was surprised by his remarks, but you never can tell.

What an amazing trio of players! I was so pleased to see Lara get a double century in the final Test in Oz recently. I wish your brother the very best of luck in his Cricketing career. Please God he makes the England Team in the future, as we could do with a cunning leg-spin bowler!

What a beautiful quote, thanks for that!
Also re your theory of who will get to the final:
I think the weakest dancer usually gets spared once or twice by the public vote - a la Fiona - but when it comes down to the wire, this series has seen them go eventually. I have a feeling the 3 best dancers will make it to the Final, fingers crossed.
Finally

Thanks so much for the cricket forum link. I look forward to visiting. I have read the Brett Lee site many times, but never posted, I usually read the articles and drool over the pics [swoon!] but I have been restricting myself, as I know it sounds daft, and I'm old enough to know better, and Gawd knows why? But I'm dreading the announcement of his marriage to that pretty blonde. A random pic in the gallery came up of her meeting him at the airport when the Aussies flew back, and I found myself becoming mysteriously depressed.....as if I ever stood a chance with him!?

But somehow the fantasy works if he's single. It seems he left a whole slew of us smitten ladies behind, as there was a quote by Mark Nicholas on Brett's biggest asset:
"There's the smile that captured a nation."
I like to think I fell in love with him on behalf of the nation! LOL!
BTW to get back on topic with
Darren , I was reading an Aussie Cricket blog today, and they are still wittering on about Darren "making a fool of himself on SCD" and "may not get back in the England Team", etc. Bloomin' cheek! I shall have to send them a link to his pukka results and performances. PLUS he is super fit for the off season, and as Bohochick commented on how light his footwork is, it just goes to prove that fast bowlers are the fittest people on the Cricket field, and certainly don't deserve their reputation for being, ahem, a *bit thick*!
