Alex winning hopes TOTALLY RUINED!

His behaviour today, his alliance with Tim and strong dislike for the other three housemates, have ruined his chances of winning completely (subject to C4 editing of course, but his odds are worsening by the hour).

As a result of this, I am delighted to say that I think Kate is going to win BB3.

I read earlier that the bookies have put Alex back as the favorite to win :'(
Maybe the moaning idiot will walk though and you'll get your wish for Kate to win

yes that's correct, Ladbrokes have Alex back as favorite, with Kate/Jonny joint second favorites.

I disagree that Alex's friendship with Tim would affect his popularity. What are you suggesting, that for Alex to abandon his friendship with Tim will make him more popular??

The public knows he has bonded with Tim from the day Tim entered the house; the public also knows that he doesn't like Jonny, and Jade/Kate to a lesser extent; any negative comments he makes about them will not have the same impact than if he had been outwardly friendly with them (-Adele's mistake). People aren't stupid, they will judge each HM on their own merits in voting. Eg. Adele was hated by a majority of the public, but that has not translated to general hatred of Alex by association.

On the contrary, it would likely harm Alex's popularity more if he was to start distancing himself from Tim; if there's one thing most people abhor, it's "fairweather friends". That Alex stands by his friends even in the face of their public unpopularity can only earn him respect.

Alex seems to have admitted defeat. The best he can hope for is that Kate gets the edge over Jonny.

I actually think he will do a Sandy/Sunita and walk out.

And I hope he does.

Nope - I seriously doubt it. He is currently thinking about staying in the house to try and win BB - just to stop others from doing so if he can ......

So if after his chat with Mr M - he decides to stay - I reckon there will be fun and fireworks in the last week

My hubby has been a staunch Alex supporter from day one ....he "likes" individual characters...much to my disgust ..but after seeing Alex's behaviour over the last week and reading about his behaviour on here he suddenly picked up his mobile and voted him out to my amazement ....I think a lot of people will follow suite.

Spearish, It's funny that. My hubby used to be a jonny fan but after seeing his craven nomination grovel he's just decided to support Alex.

I don't think so.

Alex to win even nice people have off times there would be many more divorces if everyone took your husbands stance.

Yes but there is a little more pressure to make it up in a marriage fredt.

He simply thought alex was amusing at first ...I have NEVER found him or Jonny enticing..but he feels he has become aggressive and now feels its no longer funny his constant whinging and bitching .A view shared by a lot of people here as well it seems
