Alex has blowed his chance of winning the 70K by chosing the wrong Housemates to pair of with.
Alex was a clear favorite to win BB3 in the first few weeks. He joined in all the games and was a good laugh. But as Kate said in the garden this afternoon, " he had a chat with Sandy in the garden and that was it he hated Jonny and Kate", he then got with Adele who also twisted his mind and now he has teamed up with Dim Tim.

If only he would have his own opinions and not take on other peoples ideas i'm sure he would feel alot better than he does now. ( Depressed wants to walk and a very sore loser).

He should have realised Jonny, Kate and Jade would have voted for him the way he was moaning and not getting involved.

Lighten up kido, have a bit of fun and kick Dim Tim into touch if you want to stand any chance of winning BB this year.

ALEX HAS BLOWN HIS CHANCES.

Alex hasn't always been the fave to win it. When he was up for eviction against Alison and Sandy, you could get odds of 50-1 on him winning, and the fact that he'd been friendly with Sandy didn't harm his chances when he faced Spenny, the then odds on fave. I don't think whoever Alex paired up with on a friendship basis will have affected his chances. You only have to take a look at Brian last year. His first real friendship was with Narinder, who was the biggest backstabber in BB2. HIs next good friendship was with Bubble, who hoards accused him of bullying Brian, and in the end, he got on really well with Dean, who was classed as one of the dullest in the house, and joined up with Dean and Liz to nominate Helen and Paul.

And we all know what happened there.

Who would you have suggested Alex team up with, Jonny? .. I don’t think that would have been too possible do you, seeing that each despises the other; then you have Kate, who he has tried to bond with still decided to stab him in his back! Remember for the past two nominations he failed to nominate her at all. Tim represented the only partially normal person in the house who you could string a few sentences together to, without it turning into a song and dance routine!

Alex’s choices have been limited.. and *all* of the people he bonded with were the right choices for him.

I agree that Alex has shown a tendency to be too influenced by others during BB. His choice of Tim will probably mean he has blown it. I don't understand why he couldn't just make the effort more with Jonny and Kate instead of being so condescending and scornful of their games. I don't particularly think that Jonny and Kate are putting on an act, I just think they are secure enough in themselves to be able to act stupid and not care of they look daft sometimes. I think this is a good quality, and one which is very helpful in coping with being in the house.

I find it hard to tolerate how miserable and whiney Alex and Tim are. They are both young, healthy and relatively well off with exciting lives outside the house...I wish they would be just lighten up and not be afraid to have a game and a giggle with the others. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and Tim and Alex have wasted the chance that so many others would have loved to have had...and would have made much more of it. They are a like a couple of world weary old men at times...and I have no sympathy whatsoever. Tim is definitely out this week (Thank God) and Alex will be left friendless and isolated, but this is only due to the choices he has made. Other housemates have always been prepared to give him other chances to be involved and more a part of the group but I think they are fed up with him now.

TIM partially normal. I do not think 99% of the population would consider him even partially normal. He represents the upper class snobs who would s..t themselves without thier daddies credit cards.

As you say Alex's choices where posibly the right choices, Total Bores.

Isn't it pretty irrelevant to extol the virtues of ex-HMs and/or previous winners.
They are not in the current house.
