Event though he shouldn't.

He can only dance the foxtrot or the waltz. That's why the American Smooth was all foxtrot and even that wasn't too good.

It was a shame that Patsy went last night as her dancing has excelled James' by far. If he gets to the final at the expense of Zoe, Darren or Colin, it will be disgusting and cast a pall over SCD.

I hope he doesn't the public need to start voting for the good dancers and not the their favourites

I hope we have a brilliant competitive final with the three best dancers so the result could go anyway. Based on his talent James just doesn't fit into that equation.

If he does then the public need their heads examining. Zoe, Colin and Darren are far better than he ever has a hope of being.

I love them to pieces but they have to go next week.

IF he gets to the final....which i sincerely HOPE not
he WILL NOT WIN
there is no way he could ever hope to beat erin and colin or darren and lilia it just would not happen and it would be TERRIBLE if it did
they HAVE to go next week
they are not good enough to be in the final!
i love seeing them in SCD but it is their time to go next week as much as ive loved them so far they should go next week!

Why shouldn't someone with great enthusiasm for dancing get to the final?

Not everyone can rely on their natural talent.

Surely the main reason for this show is to raise as much money as possible for Children In Need. The people voting for James have probably raised more than any of the others so why shouldn't James win. He is just as dedicated - if not more so - than the others and OK he might not be up to the standard of Colin and Zoe but he's still pretty good.

erm, excuse me, aren't the judges biased with Zoe?? it is blatant they want her to win and Darren deserved much better marks and yet she still came second so if the judges are biased why can't the public vote for who they like??

p.s.sorry, I'm not being horrible, i just wanted to make a point

Come on - yes, it is to raise money for CIN, but it is also a dancing competition - by that it means who dances the best or makes the best improvement week on week.

Whilst James does dance ballroom well - he has not improved in the last couple of weeks - so out of the remaining four, if he does not dance better than the other 3 on this saturday night, then he should go.

Seems to me that the dancing part of this has become overshadowed by whoever has the most obsessed fan-base.

I voted for James like hell last week, but I'm not going to anymore. Darren & Lilia get my vote now. I hope more James fans see the light!

I still love them though! It just wouldn't be fair if they got to the final because the other couples are better. I was nervous he was going to go this week, but next week I'm gonna be nervous he stays!!

If the Judges put Ian and Zoe top and the public put them bottom and James and Camilla have reverse scores
and Colin and Erin are 2nd with both Darren and Lilia are 3rd with both then Darren and Lilia WILL GO.,
however if Colin and Erin and Darren and lilia swap scores they will ALL have 5 points and Ian and Zoe will go.
So if you want the best 3 couples in the final , unlike the past times you must vote for Colin, Darren and Zoe

The main reason for SCD is for BBC1 to beat ITV every Saturday night in the ratings wars; that they can justify it with the charity money is the icing on the cake.

I agree with you...He may not be the best dancer in the show but he has put so much effort into it andhe said he wanted to win the show for Camilla. James and Camilla fans have raised alot of money to keep them in and i Want James and Camilla to win although they probably wont.
James and Camilla to win!!

Just last week James performed the waltz and it was his best dance and best marked dance to date.

James will get to the final and win

As long as the kids keep spending their pocket money on voting for him - anything is possible. As been said its in a very good cause.

must agree that although James can't dance that well, he has put in a lot of effort, it can't be easy running a restraunt and doing over 600 covers each night, being rushed off your feet, delivering fantastic food and still have enough energy to go and practice dance routines.

I say James deserves to be where he is now, as for the voting I voted for James and Camilla 3 times last night, I did hear that on the end bit of the show that Tess Daly said "voting lines are now open for next week and remember your voting for your favourites".

So weather this be favourite Celebrity or favourite Professional dancer, it's got to be good as it's raising money for Children In Need.

Come on James. You can do it

James may have put in a lot of effort but so have all the others, plus they all have day jobs. Ultimately he's the weakest dancer and I sincerely hope he doesn't win.

No they don't at the moment, Darren isn't currently in training for Cricket nor Colin for Athletics. They probably exercise and keep fit though. Zoe hasn't got any presenting work at the moment. So technically James is the only one whos working their day job as well as training.

Im afraid I dont agree, if James and Camilla get to the final or indeed win which I think is extremely unlikely it will patently be for the wrong reasons. While it is brilliant that so much is being raised for Children in Need, voting for someone beacause he's sweet and gorgeous rather than on the merit of the dancing and performance is wrong.

Like wise giving someone a ten because you want to jump them is also wrong. I saw strong improvement in Colin and Erin last night but there is still little or no joy or feeling for the dance or real performance, he may be technically excellent but he has no fire.

James is very sweet but he was the worst last night and should have been in the bottom two.

I love Zoe and Ian, but I dont vote for them because I think Ian is gorgeous and sexy but because he is an exceptional dancer who has raised their game week on week and transformed Zoe, and he lights up the floor everytime he gets near it. And to do two dances and come out in the results show and do that amazing Jive shows what a professional he is, also the others too Camilla and Lillia for doing three dances too.

The nature of this show is that people do vote with different motivations, ranging from the shallow to the detailed analysis of their dancing - and there's very little we can do about it.

I am distraught that Patsy and Anton have gone, particularly as they performed so well last night. I am not impressed that Arlene felt she had to have a go at Anton's jive as well as Patsy's. However, it's not James and Camilla's fault that they went and I am quite uneasy about all the hostility towards them. It might be a little bit Zoe's - I feel she did make a bit of a tactical blunder asking people to vote for James, but that's not a thing to be mad at her for - I like her and Ian as a couple.
