Hope you all got your Darren & Lilia fix, on ITT this evening, as they taught Sir Cliff some jive moves.

Now, all they need is to have Darren doing his little interview spot with celebs who've been in previous series/knocked out of this one, on ITT in the week before the final, & I should think everyone will be happy.

Not today, I have far too much work to do (hence why I am posting on here now - obviously this is invaluable research for my English Lit coursework...)

I would love Lilia and Darren to win [and not just because I fancy the pants off The Dazzler]. Lilia has worked wonders with Darren just as she did with Aled. Who would have thought after seeing Darren at the start of the series that he would have progressed to the standard he is now.
I love watching Lilia with Darren B. too. There jiving is fantastic and what a cute couple.

I base my decision on who I see as having made teh most improvement, as a dancer, over teh course of the series & who's shown that activity of ballroom dancing in the best light (who's done the most to encourage others to take an interest in or actually take up the activity).

That's why I'm throwing my weight, such as it is, behind Darren & Lilia.

Goughie's shown that it's possible for a guy who doesn't fit the mould of a dancer to actually become very good at it & that it's possible to have fun at the same time.

Thanks to Lilia having achieved similar results with Aled, last series, she's helped to prove that this is something that possible; with the right teacher, for more than one of us.

Sort of captures the spirit of the show for me.

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking! Until recently I was thinking about it in terms of who is technically the best and gives the best performance, which for me would be Colin or Zoe. But I've decided recently that just what you said there is perhaps a better way of judging it for the winners. And that's not to say that Darren isn't a good dancer, he is brilliant! And He has shown amazing improvement, Lilia is a fantastic teacher (as you said, you can see this with Aled last year too.)

I also found it quite interesting when they said today on ITT that they have always just turned up and enjoyed the dancing and often messed around quite a lot in rehearsals rather than intensively training as many of the others have, and I think that shows through in their performances.
