hi
i have had my tv for about 2 years and the backround in the picture has wavie lines, not that bad but u can notice it all the time lately on dark pictures and football games. it's a sanyo 32" it 100hz and connected to sky . it not a bad problem but infomation on what cause's it would be nice |

Check all your connections are in place and tight, they may have come loose. Possible interference from another signal. Have you moved the set or placed anything near it recently? Go into the setup of your Sky box and set it to RGB if you haven't done it yet. If you are using cheap thin cables maybe some screened scart cables will help. Try checking all connections first though.

all connections are fine, however i have recently bought a dvd recorder. but the line's have been there since i got the tv 2 years ago, someone said it might have someyhing to do with the 100hz and the sky is this true?

I don't think Sky should affect it. Unplug the Sky system and check if you still get the problems. Is the problem on all sources eg. Sky, DVD, Analogue tv? Try using a different scart socket and check if the problem is still there. It sounds like an interference problem to me.
