I just realised I wrote that....I meant as in 40/41....not that he looked in his mid 40's....oh dear. He'll never speak to me now if he is only around my age!

I had a very nice offer earlier this year which, as a responsible married mother I declined but which was incredibly flattering. When I told my OH about it later, he did raise an eyebrow and say "but he was drunk." Nice to know that romance is still alive and well:0)

Actually Gordon was sober...best not spread any rumours about him!

To get back on the subject of Anton's age, someone on another thread said his birthday was 19th July.
We actually know very little about Anton's life - he keeps it all very much to himself. I would like to know what sort of jobs he did before he became a pro, what interests him (apart from golf and good food and dancing and being a total flirt). Someone needs to do an in depth interview with him.
I'll accept the commission if anyone wants to employ me to do it................

I asked the age question when I was having my lesson last week from someone who knows him really well. i said the press said he was 42 I was told that he was all of that and a bit more. I will try to find out what he did as a job. He had to have had one when he was doing competitions or he wouldnt have been able to afford to live. I dont want to appear too curious about him or I may not be able to get any more info. My dance partners teacher said that Anton used to flirt with her way back when she did comps. So perhaps she knows, I will try to find out. If I find out anything on Thursday you lot will be the first to know.
