Can the K700i be reset with K750i/W800i firmware??

I heard someone say that this could be done, anyone with any info?

LOL!!! there is no way in hell you can flash the k700i with the k750 or w800 firm simpley because the hardware is completly diffrent. You can how ever flash the k750 with the w800i firmware and vice vera.

that you can do. Basically the k750i, d750i and w800i, they may all look diffrent but they are identical and all the the same hardware. You can load any of the firmwares on any of these phones. so yes you can turn a d750i into a k750i or w800i.

Excellent - now for the next question (sorry!) .... where can I get the software from? This is something I've never done before so its all new to me

you can do using a software called total multi server : http://www.mobile-doctor.co.uk/total.htm (You have to buy 2 credits at £8 each, one to unlock the phone and one to reflash it.

or get in contacy with gbrooks3 over at www.se-nse.com and he will ask you to send your phone to him and he will do it you for free, you just need to pay the postage both ways.
