I don't think he is personally. But If we use your arguments for Kate and Jonny being bullies then I guess Alex is an even bigger one because he snaps at her and ignores her like no other.

I have just made the same statement to one of my friends. I watched this as it happened last night, and selective editing made us feel sorry for jade tonight, when in actual fact she had a good laugh with them.

YOu could look on it the other way. ch 4 left it looking like jade had gone off in a sulk. they should have shown the rest, where Jade comes back, finds no HM's again, but just sits down saying something like 'its not funny the second time', drinking her orange juice like nothing had happened.
That I think would have shown her in a better light.

I was watching as well, and just knew the music would start up, with Jade in bed, typical crap editing from c4.
Depends on your viewpoint, they are picking on Jade, or Jade can't take a joke.

I do agree with you about Alex. His comments to Jade were quite nasty in both content and delivery. He sounded like Rik Mayall in 'the young ones'.

I'vbe often wondered about the editing and commentary as these immediately bring subjectivity into our viewing - I have the E4i feeds on continuously ( ) and the highlights often give me a different presentation on what I initially viewed.

I know she can be annoying as I have never been her biggest fan, but there was no need for him to snap like that.

Can I just say again, I don't believe Alex has been bullying Jade - I'm not pathetic enough to come up with such nonsense to try and sway opinions - He loses his rag with her at times, which is perfectly understandable in that situation.

But! I think it's disgusting that people rant and rave about Kate and Jonnys behaviour towards her, when they give her more time than anyone in that house, and she seems to genuinely enjoy their company. Alex doesn't give her the time of day - If she was stuck in a house with 4 people like Alex, then she really would feel uncomfortable.

I still think the editing is disgusting - I am actually thinking of complaining now - I've got money on who the last 3 would be, and Jade was not involved, and they've gone out of their way now to get her there... With public sympathy at all time high for her now, that was the message of the way that show ended - Its just bollocks quite frankly.

I've got a theory about this.

I've mentioned elsewhere that you can trace Alex's renewed moodiness back to Adele's eviction, I reckon he's missing her. Then, of course, who stayed in the house instead of Adele? That's right, Jade. I believe that maybe, subconciously, Alex is taking Adele's eviction out on Jade (as well as generally having enough of her loud mouthed ways)?

Jonny, Kate and Jade all joke with each other. It's not Jonny and Kate and the jokes on Jade. They all have a laugh. The real bullying was what Jade did to Sophie or has everyone forgotten that? Each week Big Brother has their faves and this week it's Jade as they're worried what reception she'll get when she leaves the BB house.

Whether she turned out the light and went to bed after the ' hide and seek' event or not, the "I bet you £70,000 that she'll leave in the next hour"* taunts suggest how mean, clique-y and obsessed with winning the other four are. (Ok - bar Tim - who wants to go).

I hate having to justify Jade yet again but if the game would have ended with the housemates confessing straight away and all having a giggle - it would have been funny. But they let her stew in her anguish which defeated the object or humour of the game. Jade is the butt of the joke yet again poor lass!

*By the way - I didn't actually catch which housemates said that...any idea?

I suppose LAST nights C4 coverage favoured Jade too did it ...showing her arguing with jonny and having a bit of a strop ...you blame "biased" editing when it's one of your faves being shown to act badly.....they have all had their nights for looking good and bad on C4 ...but if its not to your liking ..."oh its biased" .They havent shown a half of the bitching and moaning Alex and jonny have done on C4 but that was clearly "good" editing ...yaaaaaaaawn.

Yes , I thought it was bad too that it was shown as if Jade was all alone and abandoned ,but earlier than that I was interested in the conversation between Tim and Johnny about the 'I'm not going to act like a d**khead bit'

When Tim started to tell Johnny that 'when you are bored you wanna mess around and entertain'..etc, I said to my son, hey just listen to what he says next!....
meaning the bit where he says 'but when I'm bored I prefer to sit quietly and think of how I'm going to earn my next million' (not quoted correctly...just the gist), but they didn't show it. There was time to show it as there was more than a few seconds of silence after which could have been edited, so why didn't they?

I just watched my video of the programme again to make sure about this but what Kate actually said as Jade disappeared into the bedroom was "70 grand says she'll be out in the next hour" pretty obviously meaning Jade would be "out" of the bedroom and back in the garden.... nothing to do with leaving the house altogether.

And she did come back out so Kate was right.

you are right about what Kate said but wrong about Jade coming back out....they went to fetch Jade ....and quite frankly if alex had said the things he said to Jade before she went to bed I'd have done the same ...it was said in a horrible tone ....joking or not

I was also watching last nite and when I saw it today I just knew they would edit it just like they did. Very influencing.

I think the problem is that they didn't specify what they meant when they said "I'll bet 70K that Jade will be out..." and the tone of voice they used - that's what made some C4 viewers a bit confused...
