What a vicious little man Alex really is

If I had to spend however many weeks it is living in such close proximity to Jade, I dont think I'd be being very nice to her at this stage. As Alex said, there is nowhere you can go to get away from her. You can hear her from every corner of the house and garden and the sudden screeching must be very difficult to put up with. I think I would have snapped at her by now too, probably more than once. It makes me wince just watching her on tv!

No we didn't miss that, but we know WHY! And it's a pretty good reason. Or did you miss that?
Sorry ... have I missed something? Just WHAT did Alex do on the C4 show tonight that was so awful? Did I miss the bit where he garrotted his fellow HMs in their sleep, chopped them into bits with a machete and stuffed them into the chicken coop?
Or are you referring to the moment's honesty about his 'picking on' Jade? Which appeared to me a rare moment of honesty in fact. None of us have any idea what it would be like to live under this pressure that ALL the HMs are now living under. At least Kate and Jonny have each other - poor Alex is stuck with Tim as his confidante. No wonder he's slowly stewing his brains.

I have to agree. They've all been in there a long time now, tempers and nerves are fraying and this can only accentuate the possibilty of uncharacteristic behaviour.
Maybe the allies that Alex has made will possibly be his downfall? After all he's been best friends with 3 of the most disliked housemates - Sandy, Adele, then Tim.

Every time Jonny was nominated there was a full inquest conducted by him with anyone who'd listen, endlessly challenging the temerity of the other HMs in nominating him. Not even Paul Clarke indulged himself in the self-pity of this guy.
By contrast, this is the first time Alex has reacted at all negatively to being nominated, and this more so because the other HMs now know about Jade's betrayals. The last two times he's just got on with it.
Oh and Jonny is out of his doldrums because that nice man Myagi messed with the actualité and counciled him back to his cheeky self, and got that ' lovely smile of his ' back for him too...kerr-ching.

Definitely! He's better looking than his allies but has aligned himself with the 'negative' side and ultimately the fun loving J+K may prove more attractive to the voters.

Anyone watching can see that he was snapping at Jade whilst the others were trying to make a fool of her. That is the whole picture.
On a general note, perhaps the Alex fans, myself included should give up trying to put reasonable arguments forward since they are followed by inane puerile responses. Jade is positively an angel in comparison to some members on this forum who have the audacity to criticise the hm who are all probably feeling the pressure and quite tense. What's your excuse?

If you have read any of my posts, and I have no reason to assume that you have, you would realise that I do try to put forward the other half of the picture, you know, the anti jonny half! you must have come across it?
All I find is excuse after excuse for alex's behaviour and condemnation for anybody else doing likewise. jonny is not perfect, far from it as are we all, but to make out alex has good reason to be a t**t to jade because he is snappy ( poor luv) is ridiculous. In short, it is obvious jonny is ore in control of his emotions than alex therefore = respect.

Totally agree. I think he’s been the model of restraint with her. I mean FFS, yesterday he even took the time to point out the difference between sun and shade when most of us would have just ignored her, or worse.
It’ll be a sad indictment of the state of this country if this half-wit excessively profits from her time in the house.
