Sorry, I really need you to point out exactly how I've abused you, by pointing out the truth?

I will take no reply from you as a withdrawal of your remark...or back yourself up.

That 'bastard', which I see now, was within the quotes of your own post on page one of this thread.

Check it out.

You shouldn't have written it about yourself, you're not that bad.

ROTFL when you have to say something completely out of context to back yourself up

No, I was backed up that you racially abused me and even saying now that it wa a 'rhetorical question' you are still keeping it up.

If you have read any of my posts, and I have no reason to assume that you have, you would realise that I do try to put forward the other half of the picture, you know, the anti jonny half! you must have come across it?
All I find is excuse after excuse for alex's behaviour and condemnation for anybody else doing likewise. jonny is not perfect, far from it as are we all, but to make out alex has good reason to be a t**t to jade because he is snappy ( poor luv) is ridiculous. In short, it is obvious jonny is ore in control of his emotions than alex therefore = respect.
”

fatherjack. Thanks for the reponse.

I am new to the forum and perhaps haven't seen all of your posts but what I have seen is people slagging off other forum members as well as the house mates and I think it is unnecessary to make a point in this way. I do believe it weakens ones argument. Johnny is more in control of his emotions but was he when he was nominated? If the answer is no then your point is invalid. Johnny has no reason to be unhappy now, he has survived 3 evictions and is going to be in the finals.

On another point, I do expect that people will make excuses for the person that they favour but in my case, I respond to threads that appear to be about Alex. I don't go into threads that are about Johnny and I don't slag him off in order to make my point. I suppose what triggered my original reply was the swearing.

No probs, got me a bit flustered as I don't ever name-call (the members!) here, as you say you've lost the argument if you do IMO..anyway, back to the fray...on guard!

Double,
Well out of the schoolyard

The 'rhetorical question' was :

'Been sheep sh*gging*?'

I don't agree that Alex has been vicious (petty, yes maybe). Alex and Jade (yes JADE) have been my 2 favourites to watch this year as I have found them the most interesting and complex charactors.

I have no preference as to who wins really. I tend to think that, if they all seize the opportunity wisely, they will all do well from appearing in the programme.

Watching some of the mood swings in the house I think that outside it is easy to underestimate the sheer boredom and frustration that little having no entertainment could cause, (no sex, books, TV ,internet, friends- nothing) I know it would drive me a bit mad.

So Alex isn't coping too well at the moment. Neither has his nemesis Jonny at times. Big Brother has definatley made it tougher this year....

It's funny how Alex gets snappy at Jade on hearing the nomination results. He was able to hold his tongue all the other times Jade was annoying him. It seemed to me, he spoke about it to justify his being snappy with Jade.

I wouldn't make allowances for him. All of the hm's had to live in a very stressful situation. they had to put up with Alex and his friends as much as he had to put up with them!
Kate, Jade and Jonny have managed to cope and put any of their bad times behind them, they've tried to include Alex and Tim. It seems to me Kate, Jade and Jonny are the only hm's who realise they are in a game show and are willing to get-on-with-it! Even if by getting on with it entails listening to Alex whinge for the next 2 weeks.

Well done Kate, Jade and Jonny for being such good sports about it all!

Pretzel, good post - agree with a lot of the points raised.

I don't think Alex is annoyed with being nominated, more that Jade hasn't been - afterall all the HMs have been moaning about her. He is also upset that Tim has been nominated, over Jade, when he thinks that Tim hasn't done anything wrong.

However, much I like Alex, he does have deplorable taste in HMs!

I think Alex has been sniping at Jade a bit, but I, for one, would prefer someone to snipe at me than talk behind my back - as the other HMs are doing. Wasn't everybody complaining about Jade for this very reason.

Not expecting anyone to be perfect after being stuck in the BB House for 7 weeks!!.

mromega has already had to ask for calm in here but it has not made a bit of difference. Again, I ask you to stop sniping at each other.

Those that cannot stick to the Terms and Conditions may well find that their posting rights are either temporarily or permanently removed.

Thank you.

Well said Beth!
Sniping at each other kinda negates the arguments about the housemates....everyone behaving the way that they criticise them for. (OMG! I sound like my Nan!)

On E4 last night, I believe Alex said to Tim during a bitching session about the other 3, something on the lines of, " If I make a nasty comment to Jade will you support whatever it is" and which of course Tim replied yes.

So yes, like them all Alex is pretty bitchy plus he can also be very nasty and cruel too, ecspecially where Jade is concerned. I dont think he would dare do the same to Kate or Jonny mind.

SugarHiccup, Alex has been giving Jade a few snipes for a while now. Be reasonable, he has been very patient with her (picking her for the rich side twice etc), but understandably after 7 weeks his patience is wearing thin. Nothing he has said to her compares with what the media or many posters on this forum have said about her.

Kate and Johnny are managing to "get on with it" precisely because they know it is a game and one they want to win badly. Alex would rather be true to himself than win and I, for one, prefer that sort of honesty any day.

Johnny and Kate can only fool some of the people some of the time not all of the people all of the time!

Alibat, there is no denying that Alex, like all the HMs, has gossiped and moaned - it's a bit rich to say that he is being mean to Jade though. For one, as already stated, he has on the whole been very patient with her and two, Jade hasn't exactly been all sweetness and light, has she?

I don't agree that Alex wouldn't say the same to Johnny or Kate, he has already had disagreements with them both and wasn't two-faced enough to make up with Johnny when he didn't like him. It is more the other way round, Johnny hasn't got the guts to say what he really thinks to any of the other HMs because he doesn't want to ruin his game plan of being "such a nice HM" that everybody will vote for him.

I think he is genuinely a good guy. I think he is at the moment very frustrated and this is reflected in increasingly intolerant behaviour towards those he wouldn't normally be spending so much time with. This, he admits, is accentuating his worst characteristics and casting him in a bad light. ”

With respect, when did goodness become associated with intolerance? Surely it would be a mark of that virtue NOT to direct one's frustation at others?

How is Alex not responsible for his own actions & reactions? Did the BB3 team modify his dna in the Diary Room on some occasion, introducing a contempt gene? Did all the other housemates [except Tim, Adele, & Sandy] conspire to inject him with a spite & vitriol virus whilst we weren't looking? Furthermore, which of these two is carrying the mirror that reflects him in a bad light?

His abrogation of responsibility for poor behaviour indicates a tangible cowardice. Alex underlines his cowardice by continuing to conceal the existence & depth of his feelings regarding his housemates - especially now when revelation can no longer earn nomination. He's perfectly content be spiteful & derisory in forums where he won't be challenged over, or have to defend, himself: with Tim/ranting in the Diary Room/speaking for the audio feeds & the cameras. It's inarguable that his silence is derived from a wish to maintain harmony in the group; as he is promoting unease with his overt relocations from any area of the House that Kate/Jonny/Jade are in, and blatently whispered conversations/asides to Tim.

By virtue of what racial superiority does Alex relegate the vast majority of his fellow housemates as belonging to some primate subspecies? [Is it similar to that which enables Tim to dismiss them as performing clowns?]

Precisely what heinously antisocial behaviourisms/values/opinions are Kate, Jonny, and Jade exhibiting to generate/deserve this interminable river of biliousness from Alex [& Tim]?

Alex himself has evolved into the main source of antisocialibility in BB3. Any housemate who infringes on his wishes, or even disagrees, is subjected to the aforementioned vitriol, contempt, & spite. It's spite, for example, to state that his sole remaining motivation [for remaining in the House] is to prevent anyone else from receiving the resultant benefits of BB (cash/exposure).

It's as if Alex wants to be rule alone in the Kingdom of Alex that should be the BB House; with all cameras [read: attention] trained on him, and a subjugated population heeding his every pronouncement & desire. That's not the democracy that most of us are satisfied with, that's certainly not any characteristic of leadership - it's dictatorship.

And the only thing that Alex's behaviour should be allowed to dictate now is his eviction by us.
