Is it male jealousy?

Actually I see myself as a role model for Alex. A shining example of the more fully rounded anal-retentive know-it-all he could become when he grows up if he works really hard at it bless his little cotton socks.

Punctuation? What punctuation?

I-mac, your reply was sensible and pretty much true - so felt no need to reply.

See, there you go again coming up with a reasonable reply (tut tut). I too, really liked, Spencer and was annoyed at having to choose between him and Alex. But look who nominated him that week Johnny (his friend). I know Alex did too but that was because he was wound up by Jade and if Spencer really did write "Alex sucks %$^&£" on the table, then I can't really blame him for nominating him either!

Lots of grins to cheer you up

Well I'm a gay man, and a can't stand him. I know he is good-looking - that is, until he opens his mouth. Once you hear his moaning whingeing voice and his spiteful comments, any thoughts of his being attractive just fly out the window. I have no idea how anyone cna find him sexy!

The main reason I dislike him is because he thrives on the misfortune of others. I can just picture him in school sneaking on the other kids and telling tales to the teacher.

Petergoat, fair enough you don't think he is attractive - it would be a dull old world if we all found the same people attractive but I am not sure why you consider him spiteful or "thriving on the misfortune of others". Perhaps you could explain.

Fair enough, fruitbat! Bitterness that my favourite is no longer involved has really ruined the show for me this year. I liked Alex in week 3, I enjoyed his relationship with Spencer and PJ. I don't think Alex has had many "laddy" blokes as friends before and it was good for his confidence. But Adele and Jade spoiled that.

I hope Alex does walk, not so much because I dislike him but because I know what a panic it will send C4 into. After the awful editing and tasks this year, they deserve it.

*He and Sandy said very spiteful things about the other HMs
*He has been very vicous to Jade recently
*He has taken the urinating in the shower incident to ridiculous extremes
*He was vicious to Kate about the juggling
*He and Tim say vile things about the others
*He moans and whinges about other people at every opportunity
*He and Sandy drank a toast when Alison was evicted

I can't imagine any man being jealous of Alex.
Although he's good looking, he's a whining, whingeing, petty-minded big girls blouse.
Most women like REAL men.

I mac, I hope Alex stays to fight another day but I know what you mean about C4/Endemol. It would serve them right if Alex left and nobody bothered to vote much. They have really mucked about with the formula for the show too much this year. What with the divide and everything they have been deliberately creating conflict in the House and so they shouldn't be surprised if it all blows up in their face. Still, they have only made £10m out of BB3 so far, so I am sure they will do their best to make Alex stay, whether or not he is miserable so they can make some more money.

Petergoat, yes I lot of what you said is true but I don't perceive it as being spiteful - just normal chat under the circumstances. I'm sure we all have a moan about people we don't like and take delight in our adversaries taking a fall. That's why I like Alex he is all too human, not pretending to be anything else. Why, I don't think he has a game plan - because he is not afraid to moan or whinge etc on camera.

Whereas, Johnny is so scared of the cameras, so frightened of saying something which won't appeal to the public that I feel he is acting a part and this is why I don't like him. Even in the Diary Room when I'm sure all the viewers knew who he was going to vote for we had the farce where he made out he did know who he was going to vote for. Why doesn't he just say, Alex and Tim because I don't like them. I, for one, would have much more respect for him if he did.

JeanGenie (is that after Bowie song?)

Thats what is so fascinating about Alex he is a lot of the things that you said - he is in no way the stereotypical "real man" but he still manages to be attractive. At first, I didn't think he was good looking or attractive but he has really grown on me.

BTW (if its not too nosey are you m or f).

In some ways, Alex reminds me of Bowie, he manages to be masculine and effeminate at the same time! He doesn't run with the crowd and has a complex personality.

Can't really imagine too many 'lads' being jealous of Alex. Speaking as a female I find him fascinating to watch, and I'm not even totally sure why. Surely that's what it's all about isn't it? People you want to watch.( I'd bet good money that 'The Powers That Be' don't want him to go go just yet...)

What confuses me is that some posters are SURPRISED that Alex has become boring and whiny. He was like that to start with, so it should be no surprise that he's like that again; now that his role of leader has been taken away (become redundant).

I don't think he's good looking, although I can see why people do. But that voice of his. I turn the sound down! It really grates on me! Its that chalk on the blackboard screech - you know?

LK - preparing for BB4 by saving up for ear-plugs and learning to lip read. Actually I think lip reading is a really useful thing to be able to do in this day and age - as is signing.More people should think of learning one or other or both !

Mel, I'm sure your a lovely looking girl and being proud of your looks is fine, but being so big headed and thinking you are so drop dead gourgous is an ugly trait.

Blokes do pay girls/woman lots of compliments cause that's what blokes do, sure it's nice but I think it's gone to your head abit.
