get a job as a interviewer for the next BB contestants as i'm sure I could pick 12 housemates more suited to staying in the house in relative harmony than the rubbish that was picked for this one.

I'm sorry to say this but you obviously wouldnt get the job. The housemates are chosen specifically to entertain us and gain high viewing figures not to live in 'relative harmony'.

What ever makes you think that they ought to live in harmony?
Surely the name of the game is to try and win the £70,000 by triumphing against whatever adversities they face and that includes bitching/two faced/back stabbing/chipticks etc.

The viewing & voting figures for the current series far outweigh anything for BB1 or BB2 so this must be what the public wants to see.

the principle criterion used by the producers was to select the final 12 ppl THEY would want to watch, and assume that this translated into 12 HMs WE would want to watch. Clearly, this formula failed miserably this year, so shoot the producers and put them out of their misery if these are the sort of people they found the most interesting and entertaining. Harmony? Hell no!

I don't believe that BB3 is great or better, therefore this is the reason for alleged bigger viewing figures, and there could be many others. For example, the popularity of BB1 and BB2 could have attracted more ppl to start watching BB3.... boy, they must be as disappointed as we are. What else is on TV to compete with BB3? Not much if anything this year. Seems BBC and ITV chose not to screen anything in serious competition. More digital viewers with E4 than ever in previous years for daytime viewing? It could be E4 that has significantly changed the viewing figure? A single raw statistic can be read in many ways, tho' I expect the producers and C4 would like to tell us BB3 has been great because there are more viewers.

Have they asked the viewers what they think? Where is the travelling sofa? That seems to have gone after week one! Where are the public interviews? None. The forums on the whole say it's crap. The pop and tv celebs have largely backed away from this BB and we are left with a few minor popular journalists who must be loving their tv exposure on BBLB. All in all, I don't think it is as good as it looks.... and C4 know it!
