He told the other housemates he "went off on one" to BB.

Says it's discrimination against people who wear contact lenses.

I'd love to see this diary room clip.

Errrrrr, don't "normal" people who wear contact lenses have specs to wear when they've had to take their lenses out? Or is Tim just too damn vain to wear specs on national TV? Twonk (polite version).

Tim must be super vain. I wear contacts from 16, but only wear them 50/50 with specs. I am forced to wear them this week coz my specs are broke, but there is no way I would wear them 100% of the time (maybe when I was 16, not 10 years later).

he was also saying something earlier about he was'nt prepared to waste a pair of expensive disposable contacts for such a short amount of time and they should under stand this.

Tim-Boy, could winge for England and he wonders why he's seen as boring?!!?

I too have lenses. Pretty coloured ones that make my eyes look even greener than they are.

I would rather die than wear spec's on national TV. In fact my partner only worked out that I was half blind when I was trying to find a cable station one day! They print the station in the corner - but no matter how hard I squinted I couldn't make it out.

LK - can be extremely vain to the point of stupidity - I could only see blurry shapes on the telly for about 3 months after I first met him .

I sound about 12 I know - but somewhere I got the idea that my partner wouldn't like me if he saw me in my spec's! (I am still keeping that thong hidden though)!

That's a fair point, though personally I think specs can look really attractive! I have a pair with clear glass which I used to wear with some fashion-victim outfits .... I thought I was sooo cool...

LK, I bought some cosmetic lenses in green (very strong ones- I have dark eyes) to 'impress' a new boyfriend, and wore them for the first time on an early date. I ended up with tears running down my face through the film and dinner, because I couldn't get the damn things out again, and I was too proud to confess what the problem was ... arghhh! We live and learn...

I remember having to take a pair out in the toilet of the pub we were in, jeez he thought I was crying and didn't want to tell him I didn't want to see him again. I wrapped the lenses in toilet tissue (God forbid - where was my brain) I found these little dried up bits of lens in the tissue the next day.

I like wearing glasses too. Its just that for some reason once I hadn't put them on in front of him - I just couldn't work my way up to doing it? You know what I mean?

LK - is now thinking of Botox to get rid of the squint lines over her eyebrow that she acquired from being so stupid !

I know exactly what you mean ... - it's that few-months-in period when you don't want to knock yourself off a pedestal, but the strain of keeping up the I'm-a-goddess-even-at-7am first flush of lurrrve phase is beginning to take its toll ...

Ive been doing some furtive reading-up on Botox lately. Just in case.

LOL Crep ..... if you find out that anyone says it is a good idea to inject poison into your forehead - please let me know!

LK - who tried to be a goddess but failed miserably. Mind you I still make him laugh which can only be good.

I did explain though that I would never have gone out with him more than once if I could have actually seen him properly

LMAO. Well, you make us all laugh! Long may it continue...

Yep, better stop the non BB posting ... re. the Botox, though, I plan to leave an open tin of crabmeat in a warm place for a weekend then inject it into my forehead with a fork. Same effect, £249.01 cheaper.

Cleep tight - Crep

Outside of TimWorld, it's hardly discrimination if said people have previously been informed that they should be available for a set physical task [requiring a normal level of visual coordination] until a certain time.

BB would only be acting discriminatory if it does NOT penalise Tim for regulation breach.

Perhaps Tim ['s ego] believes that in the kingdom of the blind, the gingered-haired man should be king.

In my teens I use to be the vain contacts wearer, now I wear glasses a lot again. When you wear contacts for so many years you end up not caring and go back to glasses 3/4 of the time.

Good post, I would never be caught wearing me spec's on national TV, not if I could help it. It is rather vain of Tim, but I would have done the same so must also be vain.

speccy wearer here... I'm a bit squeamish about the whole contact lens thing, but I'm going to have to try it soon, just so I can have some nice sunglasses, and still see where I am going.

no offense to Crep and LK, I do know what you mean, but if a man didn't like me just because I wore glasses, the shallow idiot would rapidly be introduced to a new thing - the outside of my door.

My old man wears lenses but he often takes them out at night and puts his specs on - he still looks gorgeous!!! Dunno what's wrong with Tim, specs can look really sexy

PS. ..........but thinking about it, could anything look sexy on our Timmy???

Tim worried about discrimination???? He's obviously forgotten his offensive Pakistani joke. Or maybe he feels that he's disabled - thus the parking in a disabled spot.

Do we know if it is true that BB has said that they haven't counted the 2 no-shows or if it is just Tiny Tim being decietfull again?
