'Woo Hoo!' As Spanky would say, I can finally post a thread. What I have been dying to know is, what makes an ideal winner? What makes them stand out ? For me it's not who was the most friendly, or who did the most washing up....It's who I wanted to watch the most. Who I wanted to learn more about, and who I watched to see what they did next. Last year an out and out entertainer won, IMHO there hasn't been anyone filling that role this year. What are you going to base your vote on?

For me, it is also who holds my attention most, who is complex and interesting, who dominates most 'storylines', and therefore - love him or hate him - one character stands tall this year - ALEX.

Quite simple really - Who I'd go out and have a drink with... Kate, and possibly Jonny. Spencer would have been there as well - but there you go.

I'd like a nice person to win - people talk about the divide bringing out peoples true colours - I think if anyone came across the best during the whole divide thing it was Kate. She never really moaned, and I respect her for the way she handled the Sophie situation.

I understand people getting a bit tired of her routine with Jonny, but imo it's no different to the routine Alex and Tim have which is whinging about, and finding faults in others... I'd rather watch people just trying to have a good time personally.

The HM that makes me laugh the most I suppose and tries to make it an interesting program to watch. None have been perfect but my most worthy winners would be in this order -

Spencer - I really liked his sense of humour (I appreciate a lot of people 'didn't get it')

Kate - has stayed the distance and has been 'steady' and her impersonations are really good

Alison - wasn't there that long but was good entertainment while she was

Alex - Mostly unintentionally - I laughed heartily AT him more than with him, a fascinating person.

Jade - again unintentionally, always watchable for mostly the wrong reasons. Cannot forgive her for gleeful 'helping Sophie pack' act with adelle (most cringeworthy moment of whole series)

Jonny - Been amusing a couple of times but pissed me off with his 'morose' phase. He must have something though as so many people like him?

PJ - Was easy going and I thought he was mildly entertaining

The others - a complete waste of house space

So out of those left I hope Kate wins with Alex second...

Te most worthy winner should be the person whose taken the flak from other housemates but kept true themselves while and generally being entertaining without realised it...so for me Alex and Jade (or Spanky if he was still in the house) are worthy winners.

Ideal winner is someone who you can see yourself going down the pub with - so far Kate and Alex are the most likely!

Jade is the only worthy winner, her treatment of Sophie was shocking but who has led a blameless life?? We've all done things we are ashamed of, Jade is no different. Give her a chance to change her life and to get away from her horror of a mother.

A "worthy winner" to me would be someone who is entertaining while never compromising who they truly are.
I also see it as a plus if you can think for yourself, and not be swayed by others around you. This includes speaking your mind when things really get to you, and not worrying about what those around you or the viewing audience think.
The only people who I saw that fit this description were Spencer and Sandy - unfortunately, in my opinion, neither of them was very entertaining.

Combination of entertainment and likeability - in that case it's Alex and Kate respectively.

Jade deserves a consolation prize of somekind ... not sure what though.

Jonny and PJ were OK, but nothing special. Spencer is the kind of bloke certain girls fancy and then moan to their mates that he's always ignoring them! Adele (like Nasty Nick) had the potential to provide even more entertainment, but I seriously don't thing she (or Nick) actually had a clue what they were doing and certainly not the intelligence to follow it through. Lynne absolutely should have been kept in - I think she'd have cracked up big-time - although against Jade it was a close one. Lee/Sophie/Tim contrinbuted nothing. Finally Alison would have been far better if she'd been less loud initially (and wound up as the weeks went on).

I started this thread 'cos I'm honestly having trouble deciding this year. It seems like every day I change my mind about who I wanna walk out last.

The eviction interviews that I'm most looking forward to are Alex and Jades, don't know if that is significant...

Ooh, it would be so much simpler if the overall prize went to the one who has generated the most publicity/press...

1st.Jade- Ably (un)supported by her sarf London family. I can see 'The Osbournes' style documentary now..

2nd.Alex- Mmm, The press really HASN'T known what to make of him have they? (Think they'll run with his story for some time..) Still editors of the more downmarket Sundays must have been grateful that he has so many scantily clad female supporters.

3rd.Kate-Not much gossip bar a (2?) possible love interest but plenty of gratuitus arse shots!

4th (joint) Tim and Jonny for services to hair dyeing and smoking

The person who love or hate made the whole thing must see tv, got the most column inches and may possibly in the future be shown to have made the biggest sacrifices for our entertainment is Jade. I couldn't stand her from the first five minutes of the first programme but I think of all the housemates she can truly be said to have earned the victory.

I'm sorry that Kate has turned out to be just an average good looking lightweight type of girl who went running as soon as Jonny clicked his fingers & challenged her relationship with Alex. I had hoped kate was going to be someone with character but she isn't strong enough to win. After all, good-looks are 10 a penny but personality is what makes people & Kate's has plummeted - IMHO. I won't be voting for her to win. Jade, like her or hate her is more of a character.

BB winner is someone who keeps you interested, you kinda relate to, keeps you laughing and you never once have a thought of wishing to kill the person ie brian!!!!!

Kate has been the only HM left that fits that role for me
I have wished to kill jade alex tim and johnny on several occasions!!!! (not really of course, before i get the' you take it to seriously' crap)

if I bother voting for anyone it would be the one that I could best live with in a house. It certainly wouldnt be Poppy because he is constantly moaning in that dreadful monotone and behaves like a petulant child. I think I would have drowned him by now.
I would have decked Jade by now because she never shuts up and you need an interpreter to understand half of what she is wittering about. Living with her would have got me to the point where I would have wanted to drown myself.
I couldnt stand a week in the house with Tim, you would never get any space at the mirror and he'd nick your hairspray. I would also end up with a complex about BO because he looks as if he permanently has a bad smell under his nose. This would of course be on the premise that I hadn't already died of boredom.
I think I could manage to live in a house with Jonny for 9 weeks though his constant silliness would probably have irritated me a few times.
That leaves Kate and I think I could manage 9 weeks in the house with her. Reasonable company, quite funny and she is fairly innocuous.
Of course, she would probably find me totally irritating.

I'll go along with that, I hope Alex wins this but if he walks or is evicted, I guess Jade ( I can't believe I am saying this!) is the next most deserving for her complexity of character and entertainment value!!!!!

Someone who makes the effort and honours their place as a housemate / teamplayer...Someone who by and large endeavours to enjoy their time as a HM....Someone who doesn't take themselves THAT seriously.....

I wasn't aware that this was a game for teamplayers, as only one person can win the70k surely its the individual that will ultimately win, or have I missed the purpose of the game?

the winner should be the reason we all watch bb.
love him or hate ,brian was the reason most watched bb last year. thought it would be kate this year, but now think she is acting up too much,perhaps trying to be like brian ..not sure.
for me the main reason i watch this year is jade and to a lesser extent alex. jade has been pure entertainment and i imagine she will be completely over the top if she wins..again worth watching.

I'm voting for the most entertaining and in my opinion the genuinely nicest person, even with his faults has got to be Alex. Same as last year and the year before, Brian and Anna the first year, she was cheated.

I cant understand the support Jade's now getting, maybe what they say is true, any publicity is better than none, majority of Jades publicity has hardly been aimed at her winning, unless of course you count the BB's PR machine.

Just a thought, am I the only one who has to turn the telly down when Jade speaks(should that be roars). Foghorn Lil has some pair of lungs on her.
