I don’t know about you but it feels as though the intensity of the incessant playacting by Kate, Jonny and Jade has increased tenfold this week. I am finding that whenever the trio go into one of their little routines (which is every 3 minutes at the moment) that I immediately have to switch feeds.. singing, dancing and making child-like voices are only bearable a few times each day, and best left to the edited down evening programme, but its become mind numbingly tedious now, excruciatingly so.. its just playacting by any other name .. and “look at me.. I’m a wannabe” routines.

I can quite understand why both Tim and Alex have reservations about spending another week in the house with those three! And just think, they are auditioning for parts to entertain us in the future.. God forbid that they end up on something we actually like watching!

The worst thing is that some of you are actually going to vote Kate or Jonny to win!

The wisest thing Spencer has ever said was on BBLB last night when he said that Jonny's and Kates "entertainment" was irritating. Listen to one who knows

Yes, I'm hoping Kate will win. And I'd prefer Jonny over Alex any day. I actually quite like all three of them, but I'd rather watch someone entertaining as opposed to Alex who has reverted to his personality of the first two weeks - whinging bore.

I don't see Kate and Jonny's play acting to the cameras as much of an issue. If I was in the house, I'd much rather be in the company of people who try to make the best of things, even if it is all for the cameras, instead of listening to Tim and Alex whinge on about how boring it is, and how they don't want to be there any more.

In BB1 we could see that Anna and to a certain extent Craig could have successful careers on TV, in BB2 there was Helen and Brian but who out of BB3 is there? None of them show even the slightest spark of originality or flair. Alex is maybe good eyecandy for the girls and could hold an interesting conversation but that hardly makes him TV star potential. Jonny is too staged and crude, although if The Wheeltappers & Shunters Club was still on that might suit him. I suppose for Kate and Jade there's always Men & Motors.

BB will become unwatchable if Johnny contihues to behave like a Butlin's Red-Coat on speed. Kate can be naturally funny but Johnny often comes across as a sub-standard Roy 'Chubby' Brown acting out a rejected script from the Chuckle Brothers.

In the latest 'Hogan on the House' column on DS:BB, Dek has a funny take on Kate and Jonny's behaviour...and what they may be auditioning for!! check it out.(bottom of article)

Kate went into massive HIGH GEAR with her impressions, level of activity, silliness, etc yesterday after the nominations were announced.
For the first time ever, I saw that she uses this behaviour as a defence mechanism at times. It's a way for her to deal with the stress I think. Some people call it "nervous energy".
When Alex was going around talking about "walking" and not looking very happy (it was the time when Jonny was talking about the tension in the air 'you could cut it with a knife, like') - I thought Kate was on drugs for a short while! Good grief she was spinning around like a top!
I've seen people deal with difficult situations in a similar manner before. I just found it so interesting that she channels her energy in this way when feeling a bit of stress.
I know, I know, I am sad for looking so closely so as to make this observation

I also can't stand the playacting, fun and happiness.

I'd much prefer the intellectual conversation betwen Alex and Tim - I've learnt so much listening to them over the weeks ....

I've never seen their antics as remotely entertaining, and I don't think I'm going to start now. The shrink on Sunday had their play acting sussed, and I think he was right!

I very much doubt Alex knows what an intellectual conversation is! I think some things that Tim says passes right over his head. Tim is intelligent, but Alex likes to think he is. He's probably just an Essex model with barely a handful of GCSEs and no A-Levels whatsoever.

I hate their acting up, my kids are more mature than kate and jonny, if alex leaves they should replace him with a nursery teacher for those two and change the name from big brother to big babies

I've never seen their antics as remotely entertaining, and I don't think I'm going to start now. The shrink on Sunday had Jonny summed up, and as Kate is his partner in crime, he should have made that clear also. They are after all, a double act. On their own, they're not funny, they need each other for the act to work. But, in my eyes, it doesn't work. It gets on my nerves.

So I am sorry but judging by your comments, you actually want either Alex or Tim to win. . . Tim is such a fake, all of a sudden he is estactic because he has been nominated and only a week ago he was saying how he wanted to win this thing. I ate the way when he was nominated all of a sudden it was like this amazing thing happening to him, he must know that when exiting the house he will be greeted by boos and hisses because quite frankly, he is lucifer of the Big Brother House. . . . so again, how can you want him to win over Kate, Jade and Jonny ????Large Dark Red Arial

My dear lord.................people, they have been in a house, yes thats right s ingle house with nowhere else to go, for the past 8 weeks and they are BORED!!!!
HOw do they react to this by doing what each does in their own way...................ie in kate and johnnys way, to HAVE some fun!!!!
How on earth could one surviv another week simply by sitting on a couch with disapproving faces on????
I myself would go stir-crazy (am actually nearly there, as just out of hospital, live in the country, on crutches and CANT move!!!! Probably will have performed an entire pantomime before the night is through)

Sorry but I must be missing something. Yes, I do see them acting up (Kate was in overdrive yesterday - agree with the comment about it being nerves), but it does not seem to me to be CONSTANT as others have suggested.

I actually find Alex more interesting than Tim as he appears to discuss topics he is interested in, rather than just tell stories to impress (which Tim is guilty of doing). I did notice, however, that Tim was in overdrive chat mode last night following his nomination - which makes me slightly suspicious as to what is the "REAL" Tim.

Yeah, I'll miss Alex and Tims chats

Tim: "When I was in Hong Kong........"

Alex: "I'll see your Hong Kong and raise you a Japan"

Tim: "I'll see that and raise you a South Africa"

Alex: "But I've been to Neptune on the Starship Enterprise with William Shatner"

Tim: "Really, I've been to Tatooine with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Chewbacca"

Alex: "Huh, I've been in the TARDIS and went back to ancient Egypt to help build the Sphinx, aaaaaaaaand he gave me his scarf......."

Alex has hardly had much opportunity to have an intelligent conversation this last couple of weeks. Jonny and kate must be THE most irritating hm's ever. and if you want evidence of their playacting..watch them at work with their skates on...it's pathetic!

LMAO, how true.

Shame we cant vote them both out now. I will be voting for Alex this week as I find him slightly more irratating than the ginger one (male ginger one)

That's a helluva lot funnier than Jonny the clown and sideshow Kate.

Too bad they didn't really have conversations like that. I'd laugh my @ss off!

I agree!

Alex likes to be in with the 'intelligentisia' I gues he thinks it makes him look intelligent too! You see the strain on his face trying to keep up with Tim's conversations .(which are not that interesting anyway, but still) I think Alex would rather be playing games, I think Tim got on better with PJ, and feels superior to Alex, really.

Well let's look at the fun and games then.

Tim - Came up with the name game (which Jonny tried to take credit for, till tim put him in his place), highly enjoyable, even viewers can get involved as it was not easy to see the names on their foreheads.

Jonny -

1.Get pissed play hide and seek
2.Get pissed play strip name game (not same as above)
3.Get pissed ands as he calls it "kick shit " out of the lassies
4.Get pissed and can't remember any more exciting games he came up with at the moment.

Yes our Jonny is the most excite Butlins rep i've ever seen.

What i find most irritating about the Kate/Jonny pantomime behaviour is their disbelief that not everyone else would find it funny. They may not play up to the cameras 100% of the time but if they're not doing it and they're not asleep then they're planning their next 'jolly jape' or discussing their last.
