Everyone knows I don't like them, but I always saw Home Farm has the Tate Empire and Tom Gnome (Thanks Charlie) just doesn't suit being the Lord of the manor

In my opinion they don't even suit the show (Carl is probably the only one I can tolerate) so no, I don't think they do suit Home Farm. Would have sooner seen Lady Tara return.

Oh Lady Tara! What a good idea Beesy, she would have been great in Home Farm.

She hitched a lift from Sean Reynolds when he was leaving the village. She decided she wanted to be with him after all. Len mentioned them a while back, apparently they had just got engaged I loved Tara she was one of my all time favourites.

I liked the combination of Lady Tara and Laura the Lawyer trying to fleece Zoe Tate of her money over the stud farm stables at one point. They were two bitches

Get the Turners in there! Steph as lady of the manor, come on, you'd love it! A boy can dream.

I like gnome! He was a bit unbearable for a month or two but he's better now he's not shouting all the damn time. He's the only one I think fits. I hated Sadie and Jimmy being in Home Farm when they were lodging with Zoe.

The golden era of Home Farm is sadly gone. Ah the good old days of Kim & Frank living there and Chris, Dave, Biff, Seth, Nick, Roy & Tina working there - think I'll go watch some classic Em.

Thing is, it was impossible to keep the Tates on - all the actors wanted to leave. Kath Beedles has said she wants Zoe to return next year to get revenge on the Kings...but this is up to Leah.
Inventing some random sibling to take over would be utterly ridiculous.

Whether you like them or not, getting the Kings in was the right idea in principle...obviously they're a flawed (and over-exposed) family, but they could be worse.

I wish though, the Kings had moved into another big house instead. It's as if Home Farm is the only mansion they can possibly use...surely they can find another one for filming. Rodney is also a millionaire and in a modest house which doesn't quite make sense to me. I think he should open a club/bar type place just outside the village

But yeah, I think I'd prefer the Kings to live elsewhere and someone else in Home Farm. If those posh sisters Libby and Tamsin had stayed they could have brought in their family...

I hate the Kings, Carl is ok but only with Chas.

I am sure that Home Farm belongs to Joseph and not Zoe??, if I remember when Chris died, he said that Zoe could run home farm and live there for as long as she liked, but Home Farm would become his son's when he was old enough to run it..

Would love Kathy to come back from OZ and tell the Kings to get lost and have the deeds in her hand saying that she is the owner in Joseph's absence..
Please let this be true....

Oh God yes, that would be great . One of the strongest female characters in Emmerdale history in the ultimate position of power in the village I love it

Though Kathy is prolly too nice for Home Farm but would be great to have an old favourite in charge.

Unless they bring in another family, the Kings are the most suited for Home farm. I liked Zoe, but she was wasted in such a big place.

Ooh yeh, Kathy could be "caretaker" and boot the Kings out. Then, Matthew could start to cool on Sadie and get interested in Kathy, but she thinks he's only interested because of the property - so doesn't trust him.

Once the writers can't come up with any more stories for Kathy + Matthew or Kathy/some other bloke (+ kids?), they could bring Joseph back on to the scene ........ da da da da, de da da de da da de da......

Home Farm was always a cold and forbidding sort of place when it had Alan Turner living there in the old days running NY Estates, and it was really transformed on the arrival of the Tates.

Since then I have alwys seen it as Tate territory , I think they should bring back Kim.

Good ideas Noz.

Still think it would be funny if all the King kids turned out to have loads of kids dotted all over the planet!

Emmerdale needs more tourists attractions. At Home farm they could build a model of Emmerdale village. Tom could spend his retirement walking in and out of the buildings.

I like it, but PLEASE don't let any of the poor mites look like Jimmy. Come to think of it, only Carl and Max looked slightly similar; Jimmy, Matthew and Carl are nothing like each other! Perhaps the sainted Mary King was the 'friendly' type

So, if the boys take after their mum then yes, there could be loads of little Kings about.

That Matthew seems to have put it about a bit, he must've got caught out once or twice - I'm almost sure that hotel receptionist's littlun is Matt's.

ALSO, Tom was pretty quick to latch on to Sadie when he'd had a drink, perhaps there are a few more brothers/sisters lurking in the shadows - all ready to take a share of the inheritance?!

Jimmy's not as bad as some! Think... Tom!

I don't see the attraction with yucky Matthew him and Jimmy are as bad as each other.

And Carl looks like a pixie with a cold.

Let's hope none of the little mites look like Daddy then!

Apparently there is a sister King, as well. Should be interesting if anything materialises.

Nice one Sulla - LOL - that reminds me of the sketch in Little Britain when they keep picking up "little Dennis Waterman". Could just see "little Tom" fitting in a model village and being picked up by the tourists and placed in other rooms! It'd serve the grumply little bugger right!
